freut mich sehr, auch besucher aus der vergangenheit zu bekommen. der unterschied zu damals ist wirklich enorm, von der dm 98 gibt es ja sogar ein paar mitschnitte. wenn ich es schaffe, wird es im winter auch ein video über die juggergeschichte geben!

I love jugger and I really wanted to enjoy this vid. While most guys play awesome jugger (special props to th bearded dude in Rigor Mortis) I just keep cringing whenever i see Rigor Mortiis no22 and his Q-Tip fencing style i like to call 'I have a poop covered stick and I'll wiggle it in your face'. Just check 06:00 or 10:22 to see what I'm saying This style of fencing being allowed and a valid option makes me remember why we allow more physical play and use heavier, less wobbly weapons in my group.
interesting.. i have seen the evolution from 3+ kg boffers to this, and i am very happy about the current state. both qtip styles are possible and do work out, is that not amazing? (i think the weight difference between the two players boffers is 350 g to 600 g). where are you playing? thank you for commenting!
@@JuggerMasterclass I play in Poznan (PL). Our current weapon set weights as follows: Shorts - 300g (now those prolly need to lose some weight) Q-tips - 700-1000g Staff - 800-1000g Long - 500-650g We prefer stiff weapons, and for now only use thick, bamboo cores (26-28mm). While i love playing with lighter weapons i am concerned about the direction the weapon making is taking. My main concern is that they are too bendy. The only reason i would allow wobbling for my weapons is to prevent the wibrations from stronger weapon collisions to hurt players hands (it happens unfortunately) however it doesn't require that much flexibility. I also believe the ultra light trend is a bad idea for competition, in my opinion there should be a lower weight limit on each weapon as well as an upper one during official tournamets. I just think the light weith trend went a little too far ;)
@@danteDD The weight from the Q is 280g and the Long like 350-400, i hope u know that u have to hit your oppnment so fast as u can. Not so HARD as u can, and if i have to hit with 1kg and my speed, it will hurt af. If u dont like it to play with this weight: OK, but if u wanne play for competition: Play light "waepons", try to be athletic if u can and use the rules. Its allowed to block with your Hands, its allowed to grap the q like i do. So u have to decied to play as good as possible ooooor play for fun, but then pls stop with your "Juggerscience"
