Conmebol and Concacaf should just merge Concacaf for competitive reasons tougher competition means you have to improve especially for WC qualifiers and CONMEBOL for financial reasons could get more money playing in the us market like Mexico does
I dont think they should merge, but instead just make Copa America a major tournament encompassing all the teams of the two organizations, that enforces competitiveness and improvement for the teams at this side of the world.
Man, you doubted canada and Venezuela. Now most probably in the quarter finals Canada will be facing Venezuela. They both are actually in good form with Canada clinching a win vs Peru and tied vs chille 0-0 which made them 2nd and confirmed to play vs Venezuela or very less likely Ecuador in the quarter finals (depends what happens on the last row of matches), and Venezuela on the other hand beating Mexico and Jamaica and they have Advanced to quarter finals with ease. Argentina v Uruguay is the most classic of classic Copa America finals. It has to be, with each of us winning 15 trophies. And Bielsa's Uruguay is looking strong enough to make it, for sure. But you can never, ever sleep on Brazil. They have a gift for winning even when playing like trash. And Ecuador is no pushover (saying this a few hours after the latest ARG 1 - 0 ECU "friendly"). A lot of outsiders think CONMEBOL will be high-scoring matches with lots of flair, but that's just not true. The WC qualifiers are proof enough; the games between the big teams are usually low-scoring, high-fouling, bad-tempered battles with a high chance of red cards and/or injuries.

It's a tournament that's fixed so that the final is Argentina vs Brazil, and it's highly likely that this Copa America is also fixed for Messi. I must say that Argentina is going to have it very easy to reach the final. Now, the other bracket is way more competitive. It's very sad that two good teams like Uruguay and Colombia might play against each other in the quarterfinals.
Imo I don’t think it’s fixed at all. Argentina just got lucky group A and B only have Ecuador as a decent opponent while C and D have Brazil Uruguay and Colombia.

Group B - 1) Venezuela 2) Mexico 3) Ecuador 4) Jamaica This group is the group I am mostly confident with and most teams that needs to be talked about, with exception of Jamaica, because there’s nothing to say about them. But start of with Mexico, now I don’t know if u saw the two matches of Mexico playing against Bolivia and Uruguay , especially Uruguay. They easily beat Bolivia 1-0 at home but for Uruguay is one of the worst matches Mexico ever faced, but it’s not like how they lost to Chile in Copa America 2016. That match was the worst because in the Quarter finals Mexico got destroyed by 7-0 to Chile with almost 80% Mexican fans watching and they were completely upset by Mexico. And here right now, Mexico got destroyed by 4-0 to Uruguay. In the first half was poor, the defense played horrible ending with 3-0 , and in the second half things got little wake up ending with 1-0 making the total loss score 4-0. Many people think that Jaime Lozano should end up as the manager. Now yes you could say the matches are a bit shaky because they end up mostly ties and losses to teams like USA and Honduras. But the match against Uruguay is one of the worst matches Mexico ever played, but not one in Copa America 2016. Now they have to face against Brazil, and maybe there’s a deal for Mexico. If they lose against Brazil, then Jaime Lozano will make his decision of leaving a s a manager before the Copa America or After the copa America, who knows. The don’t have their offense player. 2. They need to make more goals 3. So with that I definitely think Ecuador will be out of the Group Stage but closely points behind Mexico, where if Mexico will win against Ecuador then Mexico will just sneak at second place behind Ecuador. Now for Venezuela, there’s nothing to say about them, yes they were shaky against Guatemala ending tie with no goals scored, but for Italy they lost by 2-1 but Venezuela played very good. Like Ecuador, Venezuela has some good players and I think this their moment to shine in the group stage, maybe can beat Mexico but idk about Ecuador. I saw the friendly match of Peru vs Paraguay, and I thought the Peru was the favorite against Paraguay. But unfortunately they end of result of Peru 0-0 Paraguay, and Peru played little bad. Peru have not score a single shot of targeting the goal, while Paraguay does like 4. For Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, they are easiest teams for Peru to beat, but now they are shaky right now. For Canada on other hand, they too recently against Netherlands which end the result of Netherlands 4-0 Canada. I know Netherlands is tough to beat but Canada did have few shots on goal. So something tells me that Peru will be last place with no points and Canada being 3rd with points. Argentina and chile stayed the same.
