Unfortunately, you really have to double check all the parts that aftermarket outfit sells. Fully 50% of the parts I've bought from them were incorrectly machined. Some were unusable. You're lucky, those housings are in better shape than any I've seen. I don't know if the bearing mount goo will help you on that outer bearing (I think they're supposed to slip anyway), but probably eases assembly. Good job!
I thought you might repaint all that stuff while you had it off the machine. Do you have plans to go that far with this resto? If you repaint are you gonna use the original 2-tone paint scheme with yellow and “orange”?
