Round 6 of the 2020 season took the teams to Sonoma Raceway for the final race of the season. The race produced some of the best battles of the season.
The GT battle was always between the Corvette of Rob Harper vs the Mustang of Chris Alliegro/Edgar Lau. Each car made every effort to do whatever they can to win the race because whoever won the race would win the championship.
The ST battle was already decided with Doug Makishima already clinching the title. Makishima had won every race in 2020 going into round 6 and would set a record if he managed to win every race. Reto Baumann and his Volkswagen Jetta were determined to stop him.
Touring Car was between three Hyundais. Gary Sheehan is always fast but his teammate Ali Arsham was fast as well and don't discount Gary Trudeau who wanted a piece of the podium.
Sportsman always has the best action and there were several cars that had a shot at the win. The contenders were Freddie Macugay (Honda Civic B18C5), Brad Austin (Mazda MX5 NC), Michael McColligan (Mazda RX8), Pete Bovenberg (Honda Civic K24), Daniel Milburn (Acura RSX K24), and Reza Arsham (Honda Civic B18C5).
