@@devilord300 Yeah its either an upgrade, demolish and start again or build a new one somewhere close to St James Park, just got to see what happens, it needs to happen asap, I think a nice 70,000+ seater stadium would be good, thanks mate appreciate it

i am a Crystal Palace fan, but i like to see the other teams making great improvements to the fan experience. Looks like it will be very nice indeed. Maybe Palace can do something similar in the near future. Hope there is enough parking, or public transportation options. Go Palace!

@@henryb160 you can't be making a move into a new stadium mid way through a season. The logistics of that would be a nightmare. This is a sensible plan that will allow 'test' games to be played to ensure it is raring to go on day 1 of the new season. It's sad that some will miss this day but it is the best approach.

@@mrt1878 Nonsense! If that were the case then why bother with the 'consultation' on when to move? More probable is the possibility that financial and other pressures in coming year may lead to the club failing to meet what they now consider to be a tight deadline, given what could be coming down the stink pipe in 2024.

The reason why I asked what part of the new ground Gwladys Street supporters would occupy was a concern about crowd control. The nearest station is Sandhills. Intercity travellers will get off at Lime Street. They can either walk or get a train to Sandhills. If they walk they will have to pass the Everton end twice. Might just see ten thousand United fans swimming down the docks!

That stadium will be one eyesore. Struggling to survive in the prem and most likely relegated within the next few years. Why they approved this for a club that has won nothing is beyond me.
