I loved this DLC. It's so nice to have a whole new area to explore instead of one DLC sized dungeon; Not to mention blue skies (Oh how I've missed ye) and the welcome difficulty of the Leviathan fight. The Kairos gate is more of a challenge then I realised it would be. I'm not planning to S-rank every level but I do want to get all of the rewards for it. That being said... I need to improve my builds; I didn't even get to the first major boss and I'm in final fantasy mode so... yeah, I've got some builds to come up with ^^;
From my non optimal experience. It’s better to find something you can get in the boon’s screen that you know you can consistently do, and get it. Like Torgal sic timing, multiple hits, dodges, parries etc. and ditching the cutscene attacks as while they do damage. They give no points whatsoever and have long cooldowns. Also you may need to ditch Zenketsuken. It doesn’t give much points for me so I ditch it. And finally the boons are the most important thing. Boons make it easier to get a lot of points. A lot of points = more permanent upgrades. Which means more upgrades to boons. After that I just put points to defense, hp and one or two on Eikon abilities. Base attack damage is irrelevant.
On final fantasy mode, upon completing kiaros gate you get an item called "opportunity". This is to craft the original sin weapon. Its similar to ultima weapon but gold. 750/750 stats. Though honestly the stagger spamming with tonberry knife is more fun to use
No you get some cool accessories that enhance your feats, you get accessories for the new levi abilities as well. The one for bahamut is nuts. Makes the meter go up by about double the speed.
I really enjoyed these DLCs the last one felt a little short but it was enjoyable nonetheless and was kind of stretch by the fact I was doing a 100% FF playthrough. To me, these two DLCs (though mostly Rising tides but if I'm honest the Omega DLC was also really good and was a really nice appetizer to what Rising Tides ended up)really emphasizes what a DLC should be. just an expansion on pre-existing things, maybe a bit of new information that we didn't know I.E the Leviathan dominant still being alive. Add a few new weapons in some enemies that are either new or in cases like this nostalgic For Better or Worse (tonberrys), all in all I think these two DLCs were really great
What I loved most about this dlc is right before the Leviathan fight when Ultima is talking about him being free once more you can hear the glee in his voice. That voice actor did a damn good job.
Doubt it would’ve been the case. The game just doesn’t make the maps THAT big and open. Plus the game doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to quests so it would’ve just made them more annoying since they need more quests to force you to explore.
I am sorry for all the yoshi P kiss asses but i think tetsuya nomura would have done a way better job at it. i love ff16, but they went lazy in so many aspects For example, they could have made every icon equip play diiferent from the beginning, modifying your square and triangle attacks. we had to wait until raising tide What happens to combos in action games like Diferent input combinations S.S.T.S.T S.S.T.T.... Etc I understand action games does not require playable party members but at least give fucking shortcuts for commands when do u want shiva (Jill) to throw her skills not they just randomly doing stuff that you barely get to see because the camera its on you at all times sometimes you don't even see what party members are doing they could be having cofe and it wouldn't make a difference. Someone mentioned in a video to have eicons have a accesory slot for eiconic ralated accesories we don't want to sacrifice a built to equip and accesory that betters an eicon ability and quality of game. I personally couldn't do it with my playthorugh. Small changes like this could have made Final Fantasy an amazing, less repetitive action game. The raising tide dlce fixes small stuff that should have been there from the beginning if they weren't being lazy or if Yoshi P would have taken his head off FF14 for a least a day (exagerating) but youbguys know what i mean deep down ff 14 is the only thing he really cares
YoshiP is the only person I know in the gaming industry that gets praised like crazy for doing worse than developers that are much hated. The only person under that development team that should be praised like that is only soken. This is the same mf who claims they can't fix or doesn't have the time to for many problems in ff14 due to its "spaghetti code", yet modders who use the same code are able to do so within a day.
@@Force-Multiplier I know idk what to do I’m half way done with the whole thing again so idk maybe I have to restart but that’s gonna be a pain in the butt.
Why does every game do this ? Let's give you the final power up and coolest shit at the very end of the game and dlc, so there's NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. It's so annoying. I wanna be able to play around with the ultima form and still have things to do not go around and kill basic enemies.
There was a first DLC??? Where have I been? I put this game down as soon as I Platinum’d it. Gonna have to boot the good ole game back up and get used to playing again lol.
I got to admit this final fantasy remind me of a other game i play it call "devil may cry" the eikon reminded of the devil arms that the demon character we control , still this final fantasy look super interesting plus the 2 new eikon dlc are extreme "bad ass" i will defiantly ad this game to my wishlist and buy all the dlcs that goes with it.
Hm. I was planning to not get this because of being limited to only using one character. Hearing this adds being able to do ranged combat makes it more likely that I might get this if an ultimate edition is released which includes all of the DLC for less than the initial purchase price.
Assuming you’re using all 4 skills, I’d say Leviathan Eikonic feat to have the other 2 skills, then bahamut for some chip damage, for the last two skills use gigaflare and diamond dust for damage and stagger
Great dlc, i love that they fixed ramuh feat, but I wish they would have given us more Ifrit abilities, although during leviathan first fase they show the design of wildlife if it was in the ability menu
Spoiler! So i was almost spoilerd by youtube, i saw thumbnail to a video talking about clive getting a ultimate something and the picture had something i didnt quite see around him. So here i thought that now since we have all eikons he gets a new complete form and maybe a few big changes to the final fight and ending. I was wrong. It was cool that we got another new set of powers and i know its my fault for setting a way to high bar. But i realy wanted that. I do hope we get a thrird dlc that creates a better ending. When ifrit, phoenix and bahamut fought ultima and they made a combo move i started to dream of possibilities for clive. Like mix elements/eikons
Unfortunately the last I heard they were only working on these two before shutting down the studio, as sad as it is to hear I believe this is the last final fantasy 16 anything will get from these guys
@@Mazysickly77 select the boon menu from the Kairos circle screen, scroll to the bottom and you’ll have “boon of X” boons, which are just the cheat rings turned into boons
Dude, in this day and age? Devs have been making DLCs with like 1 hour duration or like three missions, and that's awful. So a 5 hour DLC is more than welcomed.
by the time the 3rd DLC(if there is one) comes out the game will be prop 2y old game and by the time the game goes to PC give it 1 mroe year and when it comes it be prop a EGS 1y Exclusive so that makes 4y an not even at that point but at its 2nd year ppls on PC would have lost intrest and while Remake sold aaround 1m it was only 1y delay from console to PC
@@TheAttackTit4n That what was they said before making the DLCs in the first place. In the lead up to Rising Tide they said most of the staff has moved on to other projects.
I can see there’s still frame stutters outside of combat. It sucks they haven’t fixed that. I haven’t played past the opening area in hopes that they fix it.
This particular title in the series was even worse than 15, and THAT game had a lot of flaws. I put more hours into Noctis and his Chcobros than Devil May Clive and Bland Bimbo Jill😒
The DLC was fun but I wish it were longer. I finished all the main & side quests in an afternoon. I started at noon with a lunch break and played till dinner time on FF difficulty. That was 5-6 hrs. The only thing I didn't tackle was the Kairos Gate combat trials for the last trophy.
Disgust by a developer who make a game then sold them part by part and labelled them as dlc. If this continue, soon you need to pay for side quest in the game.
You always say everything is the biggest thing ever on your channel. You lose credibilty when you say that for 99% of your videos. And when you do leak vids, they are usually just rumours from reddit and random RU-vidrs. Not actual information.
We don't say biggest ever, just bigger than you think. Again this DLC includes more than we first thought :) Also if you look at the leaks we cover they useally turn out true ;)
