To do that, you must obtain "The Double cut" Materia located in a sunken airplane underwater.(Crashed Galenkia.) Its the only yellow materia in the area.
This game trule deserves a complete HD remake ! Just like Resident Evil 2 and Metal Gear Solid 1 (I think there is one for the Game Gear thou called the twin snakes)
@Dsurvivor21stCentury Sure MGS3 kicks ass but MGS1 is remembered by most. Characters like Psycho Mantis, Gray Fox and Liquid Snake just cannot be forgotten.
lolz, the graphics in this game were once described as cutting edge. But as the game gets older the graphics DO tend to get utdated. But if you look past the outdated graphics this is a solid game with a great magic (materia) system and some awesome summons.
One KOR is usually enough on Bizarro Sephiroth and 1-2 on Safer and will go alot faster too. By the time one usually get 4 cut,you already got KOR. Now if you can do the mix up thing to get 16 attacks then that will blow KOR outta the water.^^
@Tiars666tiamat Metal Gear Solid 3 was made after 2000 and is the fan fav of the series and I think either that or 4 are the highest acclaimed, likewise Final Fantasy X, Famitsu's "best game of all time", Tales of Symphonia, Abyss,Vesperia, all made after 2000 and are amazing games, Persona 3 and 4....the list goes on.
This and FF8 are the best games out there. My opinion is that FF8 and 7 were equally good, they both were good in areas the other was a little weak on.
hahaha... When I did the very last battle, I just held making an attack on Sephiroth sometimes so that he would live little longer. (I've even healed Sephiroth sometimes.) Then I could listen to One Winged Angel, the whole thing over.

i remember using knights of the round table on her (jenova) and having her die in one hit, probably the most disappointing/easiest thing ever, i hate having no challenge to battles
@shadowtheswordsman Plus many games will be released with better graphics but even after a decade from now, people would still play ff7, even if a remake comes out
@shadowtheswordsman No other game after 2000 has achieved legendary status. Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Cross, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Diablo. And even for PC games like Baldur's Gate. All I see is mediocre games with great graphics. The 90s was the best period in gaming, especially the 95-2000 period.
yeah but zidane is the most powerful main character i'd say, he will transend kuja, and it was a good story, i agree about 12, the story was too borin i didnt have a clue what was going on, and Vaan was totally lame, to generic
Sephiroth's health depends on your level, if you have above 90 level i think, and if you defeated jenova with a kotr. There's no cheating here though I like more challenging battles
all the FF games r good 9 and 12 r weakest in the series for 9 it was the main character when they made his lines they held back too much cuz zidane wasnt enough of a hard ass like when he says "ima kick ur butt" that sounds a bit to childish if ur gona say it say it right "ima kick ur ass" as for 12 the battle system sucked it didnt feel like a normal Final Fantasy game it played like the MMO FFXI
yay..just beat the game today...i got lucky when i forgot to equip all my kickass stuff on my characters and i still beat him with cloud at lvl 64. Took about 5mins..supernova was annoying as hell but an megalixir dispells it
