I’m on chapter 9 of this game and I’m feeling super frustrated because I’m getting my ass kicked in every boss fight. Loved the first game and didn’t have any trouble with it at all but hoping these kinds of tips help me out
Hey mate, for tip 4 it looks like you’re in the combat simulator but you’re getting thousands of xp for beating goons. Where in the game is this? I get like 10xp for kills in the combat simulator…
This video is fantastic, i watched a couple of these combat tips that doesn't explain anything at all like why aerial combat is good or how to animation cancel tifas attacks
If someone is using a ability or magic u can't call them for synergy skills or abilities... also using synergy skills can help you dodge by calling the player to you (which synergy skills do) right before the enemy lands there attack
Why doesn’t the game tell you these tips? I’ve put in 37 hours and I’m only learning the ability for cloud to get into the air by dodging then HOLDING square. I don’t think the game ever told me this
It absolutely does tell you. It tells you when you're first fighting as Cloud, it tells you when you do Cloud's tutorial in the combat simulator, and it tells you if you look at the Cloud section of the manual in the menu...
