I had the intimate scene when tifa was in dark blue. I did all of her side missions.

As someone who got this scene on my first playthrough, I can confirm it is possible. Make sure you do all her sidequests and pick the right dialogue options and you're sure to get her.

I prefer Aeirth and Cloud but I still enjoy both scenes so im not gonna argue about them. But the one thing that I genuinely don't understand is that the comments under the Aeirth video are like analysis, calm appreciation or just anticipation from the romantic scene. Under this video though ive seen so many people just insulting the other side and creating competiton that isn't even being mentioned by other commenters. Tiffa has a grasp on thousands of people in a way I guess I will never understand

Nah, Aerith one felt awkward (without giving the butterflies) and needy. And why don't you understand how the Japanese or any other Asians in general, view relationships?) Tifa and Cloud relationship is innocent and burns slow (a lot of Asian drama/Movies are like this), which most Westerners have no patience for because their characters be smooching and hooking up in the first episode. Heck, some in the opening scene. There's nothing exciting about that, just a question of, "is this scene necessary?". The developers did a good job expressing how these two reserve people, who suddenly confessed to one another would react. Yes, there's some awkwardness but that's because they're shy. Simple. They will open up that 'personality' in part 3. Have patience.
