Dude, this is the only Crystal Chronicles relaxation mix that's ever existed on RU-vid due to how unknown this game is to the mainstream. I've loved this music for so long and I can't tell you how grateful I am that you've actually made this, and in 2020! Thank you so much for this!
Game companies often remove the music around launches or remasters of games, especially when a soundtrack is sold separately or is added in a special edition. Nintendo did the same thing with 3H around 6 months to a year after it's launch, now all the music is freely available
I genuinely believe this game single handedly changed my entire perception of music. The melodies are all stuck in my head to this day, and i even remember all of thing minor details and subtle notes in the background. I was very lucky to have the chance to play this game. So many fond memories.
My little brother and I beat this game together, roleplaying as brother and sister in-game, too. We had a whole little story around our small caravan. It was so much fun! Crystal Chronicles is one of my favorite childhood games for that. This music takes me back . I'm gonna send this to him and see if he gets the same nostalgic feelings I do
Am I the only one who (when he first started playing this game fifteen years-ish ago) genuinely wanted and still wants to live in this world? The music takes me every damn time and I still play the original from time to time. Everything about this game I adore to this day: the magicite system, the battle system, the sending and recieving letters from family members, the co-operative gameplay, the art, the level designs, the tough yet fair difficulty, the general story concept, the traversing the world map and the odd encounters you experienced and you get to know more of the characters and lore of the world they inhabit. Just everything worked so damn well with this game that to this day, I don't think I've encountered a flagship title in the series that has successfully sucked me in so much (told a better story and perhaps improved a lot of gameplay mechanics, sure, but still not as immersive for me).
Yep, the music always takes me back to being a kid and playing with my older brother. Super nostalgic for me and the music was just so great at setting the environment/world of the game.
You are most definitely not the only one! I remember being a young teenager over ten years ago with my first MP3 player listening to this soundtrack while I did yard work and being captivated with the soundtrack even farther back than that as a young child. This game leaves it's mark in your brain by way of music
@@BrokenDanceCircuit The story left a mark on me too. I was pretty young and hadn't played many RPG's, so that probably made it more memorable. But the part about the eating memories really stood out to me, I still think about it sometimes.
Are there any others out there that are so deeply obsessed with this soundtrack like I am??? My ringtone has been the main menu bells for the past decade ✨ Ive been trying to make a wonderful beat out of the main marimba at 15:05 for years now but it’s like impossible. I couldn’t possibly do it justice, right? It’s too epic and untouchable honestly. The whole song goes HARD. Same with Moschet Manor theme at 21:02. I love waltz’s. This always makes me want to dance around the house. I could go on forever about these songs. I know someone out there feels the same. If so marry meeeee
Honestly I feel the same way. I played this game just because I loved the music so much! When I hear a similar song somewhere in a bar or wherever it always reminds me of this game and the music. It’s epic, it’s perfect.
So glad to see someone else appreciate this game, because I loved it and the ost so much. The memories of playing with no worries as a kid make me want to relive it.
This game was so chill. Except the miasma, the meteor and the monsters aha! But it was relaxing to travel the world with our mog and some relaxing musics. I love to listen to this vidéo when i write some articles, thx Kupo!

@@rvgp90 That does make more sense. I was going off the name of the track list in my library which is from the original and may have translation errors. Thanks!
This was by far one of my favorite games to play as a kid. It was literally the only GameCube game I owned other than Animal Crossing. But it's the music that keeps bringing me back. I bought the remastered edition for my PS4 and haven't stopped playing it since. :)
the remaster was a beautiful love letter to the experience that we remembered as kids with the quality of life upgrades that we especially appreciate today
So nostalgic! I played this with my sister way back in 2004. I remember thinking the whole GBA gimmick was weird but cool. Really pretty OST--thanks for helping me relive y childhood.
Thank you so much uploading this video. It’s the only one of its kind on all of RU-vid, and I come back to it time and again. I treasure these songs so deeply, and it’s hard to find them all compiled like this in such a loving manner. Tysm 💕✨
I searched for this specific thing on youtube (relaxing FFCC music) and I think yours was the only one with this. So I thank you for putting this together! I listen to a lot of VGM and the music from these games really stands out to me.
I listened to this on repeat for nearly 8 hours while writing my thesis and worked like a machine! I never played the crystal chronicles, or any ff game for that matter, but the music is so good. Thank you so much for compiling this, I'm looking forward to listening to your zelda music! I hope to hear more from you in the future🥰
so good!! I don't know if you take any recommendation but the Atelier series music are super awesome and chill if you ever want to make a mix out of those :) So glad i found your channel!
Gosh, this brings me back. I was JUST talking to someone about Crystal Chronicles and how nostalgically wistful its OST was, only for me to look up some songs and see you'd made a mix of the best ones! I should've known - all of your videos hit the nail on the musical head. Thank you for helping me to relive one of my childhood adventures amidst all of today's adulting ❤
Omg I am sooo confused rn..is this magic? I literally just looked for a video with some crystal chronicles songs and I shit you not, I was thinking about "a gentle wind blows" and this is the first song that plays here??? How??...thank you💕
This is one of my favourite games, and it's so underrated. Thank you so much for this! I'd love a longer version (8-10hrs) I can put on and forget about in the background at work, but I can just keep replaying this one too :)
I hate to say this, but... Can you upload a new version where you fix the loop in "Leaving the Body Freely"? (Or does RU-vid still let people upload a replacement audio track?) It's gotten to the point where it's ruining the listening experience; I keep expecting to hear that improperly-placed fade out and repeat instead of a normal loop.
i've been listening to this (and your other mixes) nonstop for the past couple weeks since discovering this video, i really like the playlists you put together, they all flow really well and are great background music. i see you haven't uploaded in awhile, but just wanted to let you know you've got a fan and i hope you continue to make more in the future!
very relaxing death music haha. it was a fitting final track though since it's called end of a tale but certainly not a track you want to hear while playing the game
It might look a little bit dated, but the remaster adds a lot of quality of life improvements. It really does grow on you, but maybe that's the nostalgia talking. If you want a taste to see if you like it, there's a 'lite' version on mobile, ps4, and xbox that you can play the first couple hours and then play online with other people after that. Glad you enjoyed the music!! :D
@@BrokenDanceCircuit thanks I gave the Switch version a shot I think it might be better playing with people online in a group but as a single player game the whole having to pick up and carry the chalice every few feet feels a bit too restrictive. The mog character they give you does little to help. However I’ve only played about 40mins so maybe it will click more later. I really like the visuals and music of the game so I would consider spending $10-$15 on the full game if it’s ever on sale.
