After watching this, I don't even think I need to play through Endwalker. I fully understand everything about the plot now. What a masterpiece, Yoshi-P has truly done it again.
@@Doomerang01 That... wouldn't have surprised me one bit actually EDIT: I mean hell, look at some of the fights we do after we talk to WM and you're like "This isn't what I said happened....was it?"
5:55 damn even with that meme playing I almost cried cause of the soundtrack. hopeful dynamis was the tracks name too if I remember right. god. okey am about to cry now.
@@Poldovico neither it was our friends the scions who wished for us to come home with them, Meteion she flew to them saying that we had unfinished business with our rival Zenos Galvus an that we were both k.o.'d by the end an that if the scions wished really hard with all their might that we would return to them and the dynamis meteion was carrying made it happen an we were summoned back
This didn't really get me entirely, but I did like the gag with Meteion going to WoW and then realizing she didn't need to destroy it. Great for a wow vet like me
The most touching tribute to this emotional rollercoaster ride I've seen. Thank you for treating the source material with the respect it deserves and including such interesting details and nuance. A tribute as beautiful and delicate as the Elpis flower ❤️🥲
2:27...uhh, I get the feeling that if Venat actually sat Meteion down on her lap and read stories to her and shared her wild adventures, the final days would never have happened. The memories of Venat's adventures as Azem would have given Meteion enough strength to resist the despair of fallen civilizations.
That kinda ties back into what Hermes said about the ancients not treating their creations with enough respect. Of course, since Hermes also created the Meteion problem, it's kind of a circular issue.
@@psychocrysis2 I mean. Ancient society itself is part of the problem. Everyone else was so happy to be there, creating and removing subjects. Hermes found this abhorrent, but probably felt like he couldn't speak up. After all, until we arrived, he was the only one that changed that Elpis flower... was it purple or black? Hermes crushed himself under the weight of emotions and social pressure. But he is, in my opinion, 90% responsible for the Final Days. He never meant it to happen, but he eventually fully embraced it.
And this even ties back into Emet saying that Hermes asked the wrong question. Had he worded his question better, the outcome may have been different. Even so, Hermes deciding to double down on finding the answer to the poorly worded question is ultimately what makes the Final Days primarily his fault.
It took me 10 replays to realise they're not only belting out "RIDING HOOOOOOOME" at 0:35 because it's a ShB meme but because they're literally riding home to Sharlayan omg
The part with Zenos, is a work of art and an absolute masterpiece! From now on I will remember that fight exactly how you reimagined it. Beauti-Chad ✌️💜
Dude I was wondering what happened to the content then I found out your channel got deleted by RU-vid. What is wrong with this platform?! Here is hoping you get appealed. This is absurd.
Never played WoW but I came across your videos by accident one day & loved it. You were the best WoW content creator & will be the best FFXIV content creator 💪. This was pure gold.
Wow, this was amazing. Great plugs of the like when I was jamming to the song again. And welcome back, glad to see some new stuff on your main channel again
