For this fight, we take all bonuses except sigil break -3. It is doable with -3, but for my account, whatever bonuses I was getting by that 30% extra score boost, I was losing by either taking extra damage and not breaking the sigil, or breaking the sigil slower (using the Esuna trick described below, only with a sigil break registered), but leaving poison to tick, so, again, extra damage. That said, it is perfectly doable with 900%.
Reno targets his Pyramid on highest max HP. He targets his charged attacks on the one with the current highest HP at the time he selects the target (not max hp, current). Dog will also target the highest current HP character. This enables us to build a tank support unit that mitigates most damage taken in this fight. Reno's attacks are all, except Turk Light B, lightning based, and all are physical. So a combination of pdef and lightning resist ensures we take as little damage as possible.
Since the score is calculated by taking less damage, we achieve that in two ways: 1) we tank with stats and raise pdef to tank further 2) we kill after the first targeted attack, before the next one resolves, by having all our limit breaks charged.
As such, after pyramid that uses max HP (which we know will target Matt) we need to ensure he will still target Matt once again. Since Centipede buffs and heals at the same time, and Matt uses Esuna, he will remain the one with the highest current HP after AOE and his next attack will target Matt.
We know those attacks are lightning based so a combination of lightning and pdef weapons along with his pdef heal gear keeps him alive.
Now, the tricky part: we need to ensure Matt has his limit charged. So, I begin with Esuna as dog also targets Matt. It resolves before he gets Stunned so no DOT.
Cloud/Zack break and kill dog, while Matt buffs aoe twice. It is imperative one enters manual attacks as you need them to register safely for limit charge.
Once this is done, you take the AOE. Then you prepare debuffs and buff Cloud for patk.
You can take the next single target attack, as it will target Matt, who tanks it with 3 stacks of pdef and a debrave from Zack.
And you need to kill before next single target attack, while the bomb having 3 stacks of ice debuff, 3 stacks of pdef debuff and 1 mana breach (as the bomb is the one that will yield us the 1 hit max damage).
The reason we use mana breach is we want to maximise Shiva damage, so since Shiva is both physical and magical, by landing even that 1 stack of debuff, we increase the damage dealt. Theoretically, a 3 stack debuff, and a Cloud with both a 3 stack patk up and a 3 stack matk up would be dealing the most damage, but we have to pick and choose our support plan. I chose Matt as he has 3 stacks of pdef and patk buff and the main weapon has buff extension, plus his gear voucher gear has pdef.
Obviously this strategy can be altered, but the part we care about is when we kill, how we charge, and how Reno targets.
Every account will be different so a different combination will work, but knowing how Reno targets is key to how one mitigates damage.
I hope this helps whoever tries.
