Hey folks, this one's been a long time coming...
I started working on this beast way back in May 2022, roughly 4 months after posting the FF7 Medley. Since then, I learned to transcribe/arrange orchestral stuff much more and that helped me a whole lot when working on this. As you'll hear, there are way more orchestral-focused parts than my FF7 Medley, simply because I wanted it to have more dynamics and I've learned how to properly use EastWest's libraries to make it sound more realistic in the mean time.
FF9 is a game I played a lot when I was younger, but I never got to finish it myself (although I did see my brother finish it a few times). The story, the characters, the music, all of it was so charming and damn well written. I played it again during the pandemic (I still never managed to finish it lmao) and since I was already working on a FF7 medley, I knew this was going to be the next one.
Now, enough backstory. I'd like to give a huge shoutout to IMShadow007 for providing vocals for Melodies Of Life, I can't thank her enough. Check out her other work on YT! (link above)
I wanted to upload this to Bandcamp as a single song, but the file is over BC's limit (600MB max, file was 697MB). I didn't want to just split it in 2 parts, so I uploaded it as an album, each part as a track.
