Alone for a while I've been searching through the dark For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart To weave by picking up the pieces that remain Melodies of life - love's lost refrain Our paths they did cross, though I cann't say just why We met, we laughed, we held on fast, and then we said goodbye And who'll hear the echoes of stories never told ? Let them ring out loud till they unfold In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me Though you're gone, I still believe that you can call out my name A voice from the past, joining yours and mine Adding up the layers of harmony And so it goes, on and on Melodies of Life To the sky beyond the flying birds - forever and beyond So far and away, see the bird as it flies by Gliding through the shadows of the clouds up in the sky I've laid my memories and dreams upon those wings Leave them now and see what tomorrow brings In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me ? Was it fate that brought us closer and now leaves me behind ? A voice from the past, joining yours and mine Adding up the layers of harmony And so it goes, on and on Melodies of life To the sky beyond the flying bird - forever and on If I should leave this lonely world behind Your voice will still remember our melody Now I know we'll carry on Melodies of Life Come circle round and grow deep in our hearts, as long as we remember
I started listening to this and one of my kitties walked closer to the speaker and curled up to sleep. I'm listening to it for the 5th time and have 4 cats curled up sleeping peacefully, so it seems to be soothing for them. I like it very much. Thank you for sharing.
FFIX is still my favorite Final Fantasy, so coupling that with quite possibly my favorite YT guitarist yields the best results. Bar none, this is my favorite version of this song.
A lot of people commenting on the skill and technicality - both good and bad. In this case, I don't much care HOW the artist painted the picture, I just wanna enjoy looking at it! Your song gives the original composition a simple warmth, it's beautiful, thank you.
This is a wonderful play of this song! Great style. Clean transitions, hammerons, pulloffs, runs, barres, so few/ no buzzes or finger scrapes. Wonderful!
Man...this is so awesome...i have no words, serious...You brought all the emotions of this song in the highest level. So beautiful. Thanks for this! Just thanks! You play perfectly! I'm here cause of suggested videos and cause i love Final Fantasy IX so much, to me is much more than a game, i love everything, mainly the music, the music of this game is a masterpiece, Nobuo Uematsu is a genius...everything is fantastic! One of the points in my conection with FFIX is basically i asked for a Playstation One just to play this game, so, it's how it starts...the game brings me the best memories! I always listen FF music, mostly FFIX songs, i love classical music too and i play guitar, but i never played/studied really well a FFIX song, i tried sometimes but never ended. I did a version, many years ago, for "The Place I'll Return to Someday" by ear, cause it's my FF's favorite song, and one of my favorite songs ever, but it's really the basic, i play as a riff...you inspired me and i will study for real some of these incredible FF songs! And, Hahaha, it's funny cause i just find out that some FFIX songs that i was prepared to ask you to play, i watched before here on youtube and i didn't noticed that was you, the same youtube channel! So, thks for "The Place I'll Return to Someday", "Village of Dali", "Roses of May" and "Not Alone" videos, some of my favorite songs ever! It would be great if you could play "Freya's Theme" and "South Gate Border" an alternative version of "Melodies of Life". Congrats and keep going with your great work!
profundamente serena y hermosa. Como un réquiem de antaño. de anos atrás. Me traslada a mi infancia. realmente cuando jugue ff 9 . Una parte de mi vida de lindos recuerdos. Gracias man. Lo valoro demasiado
I love the final fantasy songs so i did think about also getting the books from Daisuke Minamizawa but im scared i wont be able to read it, since the cover is writen in another language. Will i be able to read/learn the songs even without beeing able to read the language? An answer would be great! :D
curious, how do your nails hold up to steel strings? from time to time i have been known to tear one off on nylon even when playing something with a bit more speed.
