It’s possible through a series of unintended glitches to add Leo and several moogles to the party, so it’s possible that a Vicks and Wedge glitch could be discovered eventually.

One of the properties of the door timer glitch is that it will try to spawn the doors, so it ends up spawning whatever NPC IDs on the map correspond to the same IDs as the doors. One of those IDs happens to be the same ID as the old man that gives Ragnarok.

@@seansolidworks4736 I know that not all of the bugs/glitches were fixed even in the GBA version, but I'm not sure which changes were made in the ps1 version compared to the super famicom/SNES

These tricks could be replicated by a human, it's just very precise. There's a guy who figured out how to do something similar on Super Mario World, and he's done it multiple times on video and showed the evolution of his method.

Its OK to show ignorance publicly, but man, I hope you don't think you're clever for that. 😄 Skepticism without reason isn't better than blind belief, and in this case there is plenty of evidence, people willing and motivated to fact check, evidence of iterations of experimenting and code checking.... And with savestates, frame perfect isn't that hard, so you literally could have just checked some of it yourself anyway.

I mean, some may consider arbitrary code execution a type of hacking, cool speedrun hacking

@@FFKonoko Sure I guess some people may want to fact check it. Did you, or do you just assume it? Maybe you lack skepticism and that the middle ground between is where we both should be? Things to pounder... And I mean for the sake of it, using save states for speed runs is just as bad than save editing. If save state is allowed, then the time shouldn't stop.
