Bloody persistent! Great to see another upload from you in quite a while. The Phantom Train theme doesn't get much love as far as remixes and arrangements go, so this is a welcome addition. : )

It's like a macabre waltz from an Italian opera. Very nice cover. Nobuo's Italian opera style tracks from this game were so good.

I swear that every time I come to your channel or see a new post, I know that I'm gonna get to hear something good. I do kinda wish the train noises were in there, but that is an extremely minor nitpick compared to the fact that your version of this song is spot on. absolutely perfect my friend.

when i played the game i didnt realize, but now, listening to orchestral versions, is clearly the similarities between this song and Magus Theme/Castle OST (Chrono Trigger). They re-used so many thing in these games, the wind sound, the mechanical blast sound, and many others, and the ost :0

Thanks! I know what you mean. I experimented with the train sound effects for a bit, but my implementation of them sounded a bit too distracting. It ended up sounding neither musical nor train-y, so I left them out.

It's on my FF5 list, but I probably won't start covering FF5 until after I'm done with 4 and 6. It's a great theme and it wouldn't be too hard for me to remake it.
