@@Leonardodeboni0406 It really isn’t that powerful if you think about it, she just hits 7 times to random single opponents that’s if your not getting “misses’ on her limit break slots, some other characters can do more damage on their level 3 like clouds Meteorain, Barrett Angermax, yuffie Doom of the living
To those that don't know, when you don't have max damage hits like this, these limits do a WIDE range of damage. In fact, Cloud's Omnislash is special in that it always does critical hits. If this game had no damage cap, you'd see just how much damage can vary.
Yeah I think this video would be better at the levels you would typically be at when you would use these limit breaks and also if it was against multiple enemy's to show the multi enemy attacks, I guess this video is more to show what they actually look like
Actually those are Cacteurs! Cactuars are only found in the Corel Prison desert area that loops infinitely- with a 6% encounter rate. Few people ever encounter them!
Cloud has another Blade Beam, if there are several enemies. The particles (and the damage) are different. The one with several enemies also spreads on the other enemies.
I’m curious how the remake will handle Vincent’s limit breaks. I can see him transforming into his first and last forms, but I’m not sure about Frankenstein and Jason. He’d probably be so fun to play as with all those different forms, whatever they’ll end up being!
Any limit break that strikes more than once is inherently better than any limit break that hits only once. In some cases a lower level limit break ends up being vastly superior than a higher level one.
That is kind of only true if the player is overleveled and against a single opponent. Although, admittedly, being overleveled happens easily in FF7, and the strongest enemies are singular. Because of that, the level 4 limit breaks that hit all opponents just once tend to be pretty bad in practice, although they can be compared to summons.
A good way to implement Vincent's limit breaks would be most of his transformations be abilities that have different attack options. I.e if Vincent transforms into Gallien beast he can only slash or do his flares etc. Ideally, you would play Vincent's multiple forms, with their abilities, and his actual limits would be more powerful versions of abilities or a combo attack as his multiple forms.
I feel like this is the most likely route they will take, especially since we're getting a lot of DoC content and that is exactly how you control his limit breaks in DoC.
I think Safer Sephiroth's Super Nova should be considered a limit break considering he summons a comet from interstellar space that reaches the sun in 4 minutes. In fact, if we end up facing Safer in a later installment of the remake, that should be a soft enrage. We would have to finish him off before he can cast it. If he does, Fights over.
I always liked how Aeris's Limits were more focused on defense; this complemented the more offensive Limits really well. I guess Great Gospel is probably a bit overpowered, but then again, you can only use it on disc 1, and it is also really hard to find.
@@Peter_1986 Yeah the combination of being very hard and convoluted to obtain (nobody doing a blind run will get it in most cases) and the fact you can't use it past disc 1 makes it totally fine imo
Dude, the soundtrack for this video are sick. But seriously, I wonder how Cid is going to play in the Remake, and how Vincent's, Yuffie's, and Cait Sith's limit breaks are going to be handled.
Its only funny because he can be like super OP with the toy box and how many options of an "attack" type move, with that 1% chance of getting death. Ive had game over more times with cat than i have throughout the entire game. Which in itself is pretty hilarious 😅🤣
As a kid I hated Cait Sith and never played with him. During a play through in my teens, I finally said "ok let's play with him and level him up 🙄" I got that death joker once during a boss fight between save points and never fw him again
Cait sith: eat knights of the round! The party: uh cait....i think it's dead Cait sith: no keep going! Pulverize the wee bugger! Party: stop it's already dead! ;-;
I would suggest doing a demonstration with a certain value of stats that shows the different power levels of each limit. You can't tell the difference between cross slash and climhazzard here because of the max damage, so it would be cool to see that. Same with the multi hit abilities.
Same, all I had to do when starting a new limit is use the first limit 8 times, and then the second one is keep battling enemies. This process is a rinse and repeat deal to keep getting new limits.
Meanwhile my teenage self grinded Aerith to have Planet Protector by the time I got to Chocobo farm and Midgar Zolom. Suffice to say, the latter was easy peasy when he couldn't murder me with Beta.
One of my favorite things to do in the game was to equip Cloud with the nail bat before the final battles. It's kinda fun watching Sephiroth get pummeled by a bat with omnislash.
😁 Nice video, bring back memories. Honestly, some of the limit breaks never use it, most like aerith and few of others too, but caith sith really surprising me, idk if it had the most limit break in the game including kotr, & last one too was really special..😆 just see it now.
Vincent needs to be controllable during his limit breaks in the remake, Yuffie has a bloodfest equivalent so far it feels like they've held back a bit maybe Aerith helps her learn clear tranquil.
For yuffie’s LB landscaper I was expecting my cousin Manuel to attack with his weed eater, and for Knights of the round the “stop he’s already dead” meme all comes to mind
If you go by raw damage and every hit does 9999 , These are the best Limitbreaks: Barret - Angermax(3): 18 Hits Cid - Highwind(4): 18 Hits Yuffie - Doom of the Living(3): 15 Hits Cloud- Omnislash(4): 15 Hits
Never was a fan of Vincent because of his limit breaks.... Turned him into an uncontrollable character. My favorites were Tifa's... But those last two slots were always hard to get.
I don't remember Yuffie having such op limit breaks. Maybe it's because I didn't play her much. I also didn't know Cait Sith had access to knigjts of the round as a random percent chance limit break because I played Reeve almost never. Looking back on it in retrospect Vincenr is probably the worst though for the hardest to obtain optional Character.
Only problem with this video is that doing every limit break at such a high character level doesnt really show the difference in hit points that they can do at lower levels (which with the lower tier limit breaks would more than often be the case) also doing it against just one enemy doesnt really do justice to the multi enemy attacks.
The first time I played FFVII and the very first time I used Cait Sith’s random overdrive, I got Knights of the Round. I remember thinking how broken of a character he was and that he would always be in my party but sadly no.
In my time playing FF7 so long ago, when it came to getting Aerith/Aeris's Limit Breaks, I was only able to get the first & Seal Evil. I never figured out how to get the rest.
U gain limit breaks by these 2 ways, use and kills. “Usage” gets the second break per level and “enemy kills” gets the first per level. That why if u play and never use ur limits til bosses but have a bunch of battles. You’ll skip learning the second break and gain the next level. So use them as u get them. Very easy to have all the gain able limits (1st 3 levels) before u complete the first disks. Depending on play style.
on my first playthrough Red XIII never got Lunatic High, somehow he got Blood Fang first!!! And because the Howling Moon description is just "Attack wildly" and I'm too comfortable with Stardust Ray, I didn't change to Level 3... and also my Materia was messed up (especially Blue (Support) ones)
When some ultimates are so bad.... wow. Didnt knew yuffie had such a good one... When I was younger I used Cloud, red and Yuffie , then I switched yuffie for the worst limit break character ever... Vincent... I was so smart back in the day. Imo Cid Barret and Cloud limits breaks are the best (the multi hit ones of course) (KOtR from cait takes to long).
"Finishing Touch" is a wonderful Limit; it is basically an instant death attack to all enemies, and if it doesn't work, then it will deal massive damage to all enemies instead. You cannot go wrong with that attack.
Angermax hits 18 times, more than not just Catastrophe, but also every other Limit Break in the game barring Cid's Highwind (which is also 18 hits). At the highest level with max stats, it becomes the best limit break in the game.
i know FF7 isnt the best FF game out there to some people but damn i grew up with this game and me and my cousin would geek out back in the day. especially with the Gameshark cheats xD
It's funny how you get very "yuffie-like" names like greased lightning and clear tranquil, but then you just get ones like BLOODFEST and DOOM OF THE LIVING
My favourite team vs cloud, vincent and cid, later i changed to barret they had the best limit breaks. Vincent was cool with Transformations if someone wants to see how he probably looks at 4 limit stage in the next ff7 remake should watch for dirge of cerberus ending videos.
All of the Toy Box drops? Very good. For those who don't know, you can rig Cait's slots as each slot has a recurring pattern. The instant win can also be rigged but certain enemies / bosses won't allow for it so you could get a death to all by mistake. Forget if you can Life yourself though.
