This version really sounds like something from a 90's anime when you first hear it. It's pretty amazing how much Final Fantasy VII's music sounds without the compression. Nice work brotherrrr!

Woof, this makes a HUGE difference. You can really hear all the different layers. That synth HITS something fierce when uncompressed.

Controversial opinion: this should have been the final boss theme. It hits a lot of motifs from major plot point songs and has you remembering those moments. And it contains Sephiroth's theme.

Kinda gotta agree there, but then again the grandeur of Safer Sephy makes you expect something religious to play.

That's the thing, it makes you think it IS the final boss. Then BAM, Safer Sephiroth and One Winged Angel. I prefer this theme because, I mean, the sheer bukkake of motifs all jizzed over the player's face and ears and eyes. Amazing.

@@MariusBoss11458 I wouldn't be so sure about that because Bizarro Sephiroth's name is a mistranslation of "Rebirth Sephiroth", and the thing in the Gongaga reactor in the latest trailer looks like Rebirth Sephiroth, so it's clear that Rebirth Sephiroth will be the final boss of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

How do I not remember this boss or theme at all?? I remember pretty much every part of the rest of the game, including the pre-rendered screen in the background of the thumbnail, so why don't I remember this at all?

Because it was right in the middle ! Before Bizzaro-Sephiroth you fight JENOVA and after him you fight Safer Sephiroth. This fight is also the shortest I think.

Yeah, I played it in one of my live streams but I can't for the life of me find which video it is. I do have the project but I've upgraded my PC since then so some of the instruments aren't installed and so the song is "incomplete" at the moment. I will need to fix it before I can record a new video of it
