“Nojima-San said that he wanted to try to connect all the spin offs that have been released so far, so we are currently working on that as a major assignment. In that way, characters from all of the various spin-offs including novels will *APPEAR* in this remake project.” - Nomura. Uhh… what!? You’re telling me I will see Genesis again?
Nomura needs a long break after KH4 :/ man never gives himself time to just rest and relax, he’s always working on multiple projects at one time. :/ he looks so tired
So these 3 whispers that appeared in Remake will return in Rebirth and they are connected to AC. Yep confirms even more “those 3” are Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz that we fought in Remake Edit: Guess I misread what Nomura was actually saying because they never appeared in Rebirth. Maybe Part3 we’ll see them again, but this time not the whisperer versions. I hope AC events are in the final installment.
@@MaxwellMosu I agree! A lot of people even stayed until after the credits and post credit scene were over and the lights turned on, and nothing. If I was Square, I would have added SOMETHING for Rebirth after the movie, ESPECIALLY since it was a two night only exclusive event and it's one of the their most anticipated game of all time
It was the complete uncut version so not the theatrical from 2004/5. Whole extra 30+ minutes which rounded out awkward unresolved plot points like Denzils entire arc. The quality is a 4K upscale but not an internal one where they redid any assets but it overall looks great but some moments/scenes had some artifacts from it just being a basic upscale. Overall was absolutely amazing on the big screen!
That is great! What about the dubbing? Was it the old voice actors? Or did they redub the movie with the new ones? I forgot to add this question.@@MaxwellMosu
@@eliskahorackova2623 it was the original voice actors! They did two showings one for the OG dub and the Japanese Sub. Some weird volume level problems between the voices and music though during the film. Felt like my ears were gonna get blown out by the voices sometimes.
Duuuude I know him and his girl plopped down right in front of us in the walking aisle I was like WTF??? Luckily they moved like 30 seconds later to our row to the left of us.
Respectfully I think you’re missing the larger picture and if you didn’t see that during “remake” you’ll see within rebirth. Structurally you can’t call something a remake when the story/intent chooses to forego the original plot in place of combining both every spin off they’ve ever made(as nomura says here) and defying the destiny of the original plotline to forge a new journey where the main characters are seeing visions of the original game as trickery and warning signs of a “bad” future.
@@MaxwellMosuso it’s possible to have a different ending here right? I assume the timeline is OG game -> Advent Children -> remake. I have theories for how the story will be different but it banks on the remake not having to directly lead into advent children.
@@MaxwellMosualso what does he mean by AC(advent children) being positioned just beyond the remake project? Does this disprove the sequel theory? Does this mean that this truly is a remake and in the end will have basically 95% same ending as the original and lead into Advent Children or can we have something different?
@@PringlessinglesHeyo! Thanks for your comments you actually gave me a great prompt for a future video to discuss this. I’m more than 75% of the way through rebirth rn and discussing this in comment form would spoil and potentially misconstrue ideas that would be easier talked about in a verbal format. But where I’m at they blatantly talk about ideas from my original comment in game. But as a blanket statement no Advent Children being a step beyond remake has many implications and doesn’t change the idea that this is a sequel based on the way they’re approaching this project. The way “remake” is framed is that the Sephiroth from advent children(which mind you is the only time we ever see Sephiroth with a black wing in the entirety of the FF7 compilation - not even in crisis core) is somehow taking control of destiny itself in this reimagined/reinterpreted timeline. Things will continue to be radically different as Nojima the main writer is taking the revisionist approach to this new story and seemingly fulfilling his fantasy of what that original 10th anniversary project wasn’t able to fully accomplish.
