Mannnn, now I wished there was an option for a playable Zack in the main story's open world rather than the few segments we had. Either gonna have to wait on Part 3 or PC mods when this game hits PC. Got the vibes that this version of Zack is a taste of what's to come.
Yeah, I was disappointed at how little Zach we got, but knowing what’s left of the story having Zach get big moments in the game or even be in the party will allow for us to explore that, if he is it’s going to be so peak
Good lord, this is impressive! I had a hell of a time beating this with Cloud nuking everything. Finishing it without Cloud is incredible...great job!!
It's surprising that they fleshed out Zack to have a solid gameplay foundation to this extent, considering on the main game you only control him for 3 fights, 1 of which is literally just a scripted sequence that you can not die in. Makes me very confident Zack will be fully playable with a much more refined style of gameplay in Part 3.
In FF7 pt3 Zack should have the ability to stab his buster sword into the ground & fight bare handed giving him a whole new moveset & instead of different buster swords I think Zack should use different weapons since he's solo throughout most of his journey
I thought I was good at playing, planning my atb and watching what enemies does. But this... man, you literally make me feel like a dumb ass newbie. Need to learn all the patterns for perfect parries like you. Super congrats man 🙏🏻💪🏻
Odin was flawless... Love how odin just says F this after getting beat relentlessly and does the warning like he knows it is the only way to eventually stop you...
If its all the same to you being a parry god is what you need to do to be good with Zack which means you can beat this with anyone. High Braver is insane but you'd expect at Charge 3 he'd just be steamrolling. The benefit to wasting time for this mechanic doesn't seem worth it at least not in this setting against these kinds of enemies
@@zKrisVll2001 I see. All you RU-vidrs are damn incredible. I'm still struggling with nailing down enemy attacm frames, and I keep overcommitting to combos. I feel like being less greedy is more within my reach, but how do you practice reading the frames?
@@ActualHumanMigzI just wait until the final moment and hope it works, but I've done these fights so many times that once you see how each enemy attacks, you'll see when to block at the right moment.
@@DOC_951 but some attacks even if the have "!" u can block them with a parry like the grab from Bahamut but only if u have the precision defense focus materia but even so i think not all are blockable 😆
How exactly do we learn to play Zack when the enemies in the only tutorials A) annihilate us fast (bonds) or die almost immediately (vs orcs tutorial) How did you practice the quick charge combo ? Was this something that took like a hundred hours or did you choose a specific enemy? Or did you have a cloud support build to keep Zack alive during a round and just practice there? I really want to know because I want to be able to do his combat and crisis core reunion is a lot different (no charge mechanic) So 1. How'd you practice him/where? 2. How long did it take to get good?
Hi about yours questions i agree that Zack is hard to practice with him and his tutorial doesnt not help at all maybe they should add him in the others VR Combats if u completed all the combats. I practice with Titan the quickcharge like you say in his tutorial is very difficult because they have low Health i took a few hours but one you learn the timing is pretty easy. And a only use Zack without cloud for practice. And if you do all the combats with zack solo will take a while also zack doesnt have precision defense focus materia is more hard to parry with him.
Any of the attack zack does u can do a quick charge the more easier i believe is : Attack, attack wait 0,5 sec and press triangle if you wait a second you can do a Charge combo that fill more the charge, When u do a parry also can do a quickcharge also with abilities u have to wait until the animation is over and press triangle. Try not to press so earlier triangle doing that will not allow to do the quickcharge hope u understand me because my english is so bad 😅
I'm finally able to beat Titan and the Hueyacoatl but Phoenix absolutely trashes me there aren't many narrated guides on how to do Bonds with Zack SOLO at all I doubt even 1% of people can beat the first round solo. Idk how to even approach phoenix
I will try to explain what I did in the phoenix round, first eliminate all his summons, try to parry some of his attacks until you get to his last summons, you have the charge to lvl 3 use meteors shots and some attacks mid air, then attack with chain slash, try to get the stunt bar to 95% and then use high braver that should stun him and rush to have charge lvl 3 again and do high braver again if you do slow he will use rebirth flame.
@@zKrisVll2001basically meteor shots chain slash 3 X2 leave some small stagger and stagger into high braver then do another one. I'm gonna bring cloud to get through the first 2 since they're easy now and I guess learn to perfect block every time. Not sure how I'll handle that psycho brineborn but I can practice him with cloud or use the same strat to burn through rounds with cloud and then use Zack to practice. This is truly a hard challenge especially solo. Sephiroth, I can get to 5 or 6/10 with barely any practice but Zack is like slower cloud without prime mode to me. They really should have let us use him for any combat sim summons and stuff post game so we could get good. Seems like an unfinished character that COULD have a special basic attack mechanism or mode like cloud (or like Crisis Core Zack) Oh well, it's not required I do it but I do enjoy his charge mechanic.
Nice video ! Is this the normal or difficult mode ? because in Dynamic, you don't ever deal that much damage when you hit, neither take so few when you're hit. By the way your parry timings are exccellent that's impressive
