Final Fantasy VII Remake | HDR | Cutscenes, No Subtitles 

I have unfortunately run into a lot of capture issues while trying to record Rebirth (all footage has been scrapped). So, all I can say is that a video of the game will be made, but there is no ETA. Sorry. On the upside, there is supposed to be a patch coming to improve the Performance Mode visuals, so waiting for that is probably in my best interest at this point.

I have enjoyed the time I've played it, yeah. The fact I've put 30 hours into the game and have no footage to show for it is rather frustrating though. That's why I said in the community post that I need to take a step back from the project for a little bit.

Ah I didn't even know community posts were a thing, I apologize cause I'm sure you've been getting hit with a ton of "DO REBIRTH" comments from people like me who don't see that. That has to be soooo frustrating. The game is so fun and good but not good enough to play 30 hours of the same content twice in one week hahaha. @@RossaNextGen

All good, don't worry about it. I do get a request here and there for new releases, but it's really not that bad. With the footage, that 30 hours was actually across two playthrough attempts, so the next one will hopefully be third time lucky. The first two issues were HDR related, so I'm going back to SDR again and it should be fine this time.

No problem, glad I could help. I do also have a Rebrith version also being made, but it's still probably a few weeks away though.

It does, but the main holdup has been capture issues actually. About 30 hours of Rebrith alone ended up being wasted. Haven't uploaded any video in over a month as a result.

Thank you for the kind words 😊 The frustration I've had with capturing footage this month has been more than most will ever know, but messages like this do help a lot. Rebrith has now got its patch though, so work on the project can once again be restarted... albeit with much less vigour this time.

Hey you doing the cutscenes now?

Honestly, any cosmetic changes are always a balancing act with these videos. If I wasn't recording, I'd be doing it a lot more is the truth. I'm mindful of outfits especially, but if a new weapon will help me enjoy the game more, I'm rarely going to ignore it. I've always felt that's a pretty fair compromise.

I'd like to eventually do 15, probably the 13 trilogy as well, but it's hard to know when or if I'll get around to them honestly. I'll note your request down though and see what happens.

If it's the scene I'm thinking of, that didn't exist in my playthrough, sorry. There are a few versions of that, so you can end up talking to Tifa (like I did) instead of Aerith. I think Barret also has one too?

Sorry, no. Videos I upload are too big to keep around or host on a cloud service.

I don't keep track of that and my rendering setup was different in 2022; but probably not too much longer than the video length. Somewhere in the 8 or 9 hour range probably.

You're not technically wrong, but I can only include what I experienced in my playthrough though. I am already working through some changes to more accurately title new videos.

Her dress only changes if you do sidequests, and I never really do those in anything I play these days. Sorry to disappoint!
