This is my version of The Nightmare Begins from FFVII (Vincent Valentines Theme), nice simple piece of music, so much can be done with it. There are far too many piano covers exactly the same as the original... I mixed it up quite a bit, experimented, There is a waltz section. There will be plenty more Final Fantasy I was going to do a big medley but I thought why not just take time on each one, make my own versions of each piece. I think they deserve a bit more than just a medley.

I am not very familiar with Final Fantasy, I love the music but haven't ever actually played any of them. So please tell me what you think the best songs/pieces are, I want to start a playlist dedicated to the music of Final Fantasy =) I will also re do Sad Romance from FFX, When I have done all of them I will do a video of them back to back, 2 hours of pure Final Fantasy =D

I've always loved Vincent's theme song. And this one is by far one of the most beautiful remakes of it. :3 Very well done.

Vincent is/was one of my favorite characters in all of the Final Fantasies. Actually, probably The favorite. The whole brooding vampire who is almost always silent gives him the cool mysterious 'boba fett-like' appeal. I like your version. Very well done.

Parallaxus He really does remind me of Boba Fett and sometimes Hellsing but much more badass and gorgeous!! I'm in love with his personality...I noticed he's not silent all the time lol, he's highly intelligent, sarcastic and sexy😈 He's an attractive vampire and possibly the only man I'd marry...I'm not marrying a man unless he's like Vincent❤️ He's mature for his age and knows more than you...I really fell in love with his full name, too. I can't stop gushing about a certain last name called Valentine...❤️❤️ I love reading fanfics about him and Tifa❤️

This throws an entirely new light on this piece for me. I never really liked the song since I thought that it was sort of unsettling and frightening, but now I can feel the hopelessness and despair of Vincent as a character. Thank you for sharing this experience with me!

Wow. This is one of those pieces that I had to sit here and close my eyes to in order to shut out all visual distractions. I'm especially taken by the first half; it radiates this sense of dark beauty, of heartrending tragedy. I don't think the waltz portion quite fits though...the piano there reminds me too much of a carnival and the feel of the "nightmare" starts to slip away. Then again...Hojo did essentially turn Vincent into something you might find at such a place. Incredible work in any case!

I just have to say that this rendition of Vincent's theme was very close to making me cry. I'm emotionally attached to the character and when it suddenly picked up at 00:56, I could actually feel my own heart ache for Vincent. I know you said in the description that you didn't play any FF games, so you're probably not familiar with his back story, but I just wanted you to know what effect it had on me. So, thank you for this. Don't suppose there's a download anywhere?

This was exactly my reaction. The melody picks up so strongly, portraying unbearable agony with a touch of rage, before dropping to a low tune, signifying hidden pain and buried memories. Ah, this is perfect.

My favorite part was where it picked up at around :54. I nearly cried listening to this because it feels like I can feel Vincent's pain and feel his aching heart. It describes the pain, loss, and anger he feels. This by far is one of my favorite songs now. I cannot stop listening to it. I want to cry every single time I listen to it, and my heart never stops aching for Vincent. It also helps that I am very attached emotionally to him. I have driven my family and friends nuts describing his hurt and his past.

I will go check out his stuff. I play the piano part first, then I play all the other instruments afterwards, I need to do the piano first as it sets the foundations keeps me in time etc. =) I play the instruments on my digital piano although I can play other instruments, recording software instruments through the digital piano is so much more convenient ha.

I can't say that this sounds like the original. I like it. But if I heard it on its own without having found it on my own I'd never pick up on what it was supposed to be. It would sound familiar but almost a different song.

humm. well, 'the final battle' vs Cloud of Darkness in FF 3. is one that few don;'t know how to remake properly. Dancing mad is a suggestion. but that's a long, complicated piece. the dreadful fight from FF 4. is a great piece. i'd love to hear ur version of it.

I have a digital piano which is the same size and everything as an acoustic piano. I personally like playing both, Digitals are easier to record with a traditional piano you would need to set microphones. Guess it depends on what piano you have too, If you have a cheap keyboard its going to sound like shit haha. And same for a cheap piano. Thanks for suggesting that song my friend =D

This is why I love vampire waltz music and dark mysterious men like Vincent....I picture myself waltzing with him in a dark castle🌹💃🏻💃🏻 Beauty and the beast type of thing or vampire lord and goddess🍷 He will always be my favorite vampire💋💋 Edward Cullen can suck it!! 😈 I really need to get back into writing fan fiction because I'm definitely gonna include Vinny🌹🌹
