Final Fantasy VIII "Don't be Afraid" Orchestral Loop 

Whenever I hear this song, my brain immediately remembers the sound of Quistis' whip cracking at the start of battle!

There is one thing that cannot be denied, about FF8: That game had one of the best soundtracks in the series. Maybe THE best for the fact that Faye Wong had such a great love song in the final scenes of the game. Absolutely great battle theme for the random encounters.

The arrangement here is spectacular. The pounding orchestra gives me chills.

It's a story about a group of war orphans trained from a young age, being sent to fight the same wars as their ancestors, killing soldiers and assassinating world leaders being manipulated by a sorceress transcending time and space to gain power throughout history. And this is the battle music for such a story.

This sounds like the track for a full-scale war against two armies, instead of a small encounter between 3 people and some monsters.

This really brings great memory of my beautiful youth. ❤

When I was a little kid and I used to play FF VIII I always let the turn wait to play this theme over and over again, it made me feel brave and strong ahaha

This is my absolute favourite version of Dont Be Afraid and to hear it extended is a heck of a treat.

The FF7 battle theme is iconic but this one is just so much more exciting.

I can imagine the FFVIII remake have MMO gameplay to it via the SEED missions. I've always felt that the SEED mercenary aspect of the game had so much potential in making the game have more things to do. I hope the remake will flesh it out more.

I wish they would make a movie about FFVIII with all these godlike immersive orchestral soundtracks

One of the few little things FFVIII managed to pull. Fast forward to 2017, the CG might be outdated but VIII still has the best battle theme amongst FF.

Ff8 was one of those rare RPG’s that the common battle music was probably the best combat music in the entire game, when most games you’d be tired of hearing it by the end of the game, not this one though.

I feel like I should be watching a western with sci-fi elements spliced in, and the characters are doing some massive train heist on robot horseback, while being chased by a large tornado & half the Galbadian army. This is that level of epic.

This deserves many more views.

this is perfect for my dungeons and dragons campaign. I am going to have a full soundtrack to my campaign using traditional classical music like Wagner, Mendelssohn, Griegg etc and also video game music. This one is set to a boss battle against a giant Land Wurm in the Gteat Plains of Argoth.

I feel like there are some notes missing. I'm not a musically literate person, but the transitions seem too abrupt (compared to the game).

Song doesn't even start till 1 minute in ... Funny thing is I remember the song SO perfectly ... and I never beat the game, never will (terrible battle system compared to other FFs). I still wonder how the story went ... I hope they remake this. Oh and I hate this game a lot, lol. I don't know why but I'll always dislike it.

FINAL FANTASY VIII and ONIMUSHA 3 are those titles that i personally wish to have a remake in the modern console genre💁🏻‍♀️💯using the topnotch graphics of todays gaming, movie engine💁🏻‍♀️💯just imagine how it will look like… ff8 was so underrated tbh and back in the day when you go to such locations like Fishermans Horizon, Deep Sea Research Center, Centra Ruins and Esthar the jawdroppingi pre rendered backgrounds of these locations are just way off the charts for a PS1 game💁🏻‍♀️💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻sometimes you want to live into the world of ff8 just by imagining yourself inside that world or location💁🏻‍♀️💯 and my personal favorite location was the deep sea research facility and centra ruins and the tomb of the unknown king those locations where all pure artistically made and it looked so real to me💁🏻‍♀️💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
