FF 8 Soundtrack just picked right up after FF IV, V, VI and VII. Nobuo was making masterpiece after masterpiece. The guy is the most legendary video game music composer ever, and there will never be anyone as good.

I'd argue that Shoji Meguro, the guy that made most of the post-SNES Shin Megami Tensei music is a legend on his own right. If you're here listening to metal covers of FF you should defo give him a listen or play the games; the entire Persona saga, SMT3 and 4, the Digital Devil Saga games...

Wow, I love it. I do kinda miss the "huhh" at the start but I guess maybe there's a fine line between pulling it off and it just sounding bad. The rest is amazing.

I like Caleb Hyles. I like RichaadEB. I like Familyjules. I have a favorite. My favorite is ToxicxEternity. I listened to his Pokemon Blue/Red/Green Trainer battle without actually realizing it was him. Then I fell in love with his Undertale tracks. Then I realized that that trainer battle music was actually him. Now I get to listen to a song from a game that got me into the Final Fantasy series. Holy shit.

Feels like its missing something at the start but other than that well done. ( and the end area too.. Or perhaps the area close to the end but not quite at the end.. Something along those lines.. Then again the original is longer than this, same with its remastered/remake version... That one funny enough is even longer.. 5 min on original and 6 min on the remaster versions of the song. So that might be part of the reason why I feel that way? )
