Final Fantasy X - Alternative Mi'ihen Highroad Cutscene Skip 

There's several vids about this, but non using Maechen's cutscene as the skipping point and not triggering the other cutscene at all.
Push forward and talk to the NPC while toeing the edge of Maechen's cutscene trigger, then while running talk to him again.
The cutscene will start but you'll be able to progress down the road.
You can go just past the other trigger before it stops you and automatically says Tidus' line. If you hit a battle before then, that's where it stops you, since a battle resume the cutscene.
The trigger for the crusader cutscene is ignored though and you can run to the end of the screen unimpeded.
This was done on PCSX but with no special tools apart from the inital savestate.
