It's so nice to see a metal cover that doesn't just straight up attack you with blaring guitars, epic vocals and tries to show off all the technical skills, but actually manages to stay faithful to the spirit of the original song while still remaining "metal". 10/10

This. THIS. THIS. Let me just say right here, this is one of the greatest metal covers of anything in existence that doesn't just make it a typical metal song. This carries the spirit of the original in that it's a song about the themes of Heavensward, and it's all the more powerful for it. I've subscribed and favourited just for this song alone. When he layer there dying and saying that line. It reminded me of a friend that I was serving with in the military, he was dying from an injury he received from an IED that blew up next to his humvee. That moment made me remember him and made me start crying.

holy crap........ look, i know i am one among many others, but the moment you started singing you earned a sub and a fan, i came here expecting a lot just for that toxiceternity part, but i ended up finding a sinply amazing version of one of my fav songs of the game, i just love it and the Yotsuyu look made it even more epic hahahaha
Oh wow, this was my favorite of the songs with lyrics from XIV for the longest time until "Close in the Distance" from super late in the current expansion and this version takes the one in the game and really amps it up to be even more emotional. Definitely going to keep an eye on this channel going forwards cause that was just wonderful.
