just fyi, the atomos in the 2nd boss fight are blue and yellow, not blue and red

did this blind last night for the first time and cleared it, was highly enjoyable. Group wiped a couple of times mainly on the first boss with people getting knocked off, as for me im a drg so im expected to die lol

Clarification on the Hands mechanic of the 3rd boss. The AoEs are not always front right and back left. She can switch them up. The way to tell is the raised has is the "Front" quadrant, while the lower hand is the "Back" quadrant.

You're allowed to attack during the shadow creep portion of Scathach's rotation, you just can't move while the it's resolving. Also the Atomos are yellow not red.

Apparently you can still attack when shadows on the floor appears, just don't move that's all.

Did blind first time a few days ago, had a few people shouting in Chat “KAIKOKEN” and “KAMIHAMIHAAAAAAA” during the beam battle

In the 3rd boss, you only need to stop any movement when Shadows gether, you can still you spells and such has long as you dont move.

It was an awesome 'twist' having diablos being the big bad

When the hands come out and grab your feet, have someone who does not have the hands on them stand with you. It will create a shadow link, so you don't take as much damage and you won't be thrown into the air.

Seems to be a difficulty variance for this one: reports are that you've seen all this before so some groups just wade right on through with no trouble, while others spend 2 or 3 timers just to get a single clear. It took my second run that almost ran out to get my first clear. One of the major issues I seemed to have was that tanks constantly dropped dead. Either they're not mitigating enough damage, or healers aren't actually healing. Tanks, take the dps hit from tank stance and make sure you don't die. Healers, keep your attention on your party so you don't lose numbers, and learn your mitigation cooldowns. Sacred Soil, Virus (from arcanists, these are mostly mages), Disable, Stoneskin if you have to, Bole if you must, and black mages could probably find a place for Apocatastasis in there.

Haha I tried to avoid Death Gaze's enrage in that exact same way. Ain't no gettin' out of them death squares at the end.

When shadows gather you can attack Scathach. I've never had that mechanic trigger on me whilst I was using weaponskills. Unless that's some strange bug.

actually i have seen the orbs during diablos just fly out of the arena if no one touches them, this may have just been because their target died but i believe you can just dodge them and let them go

For Scathach you are allowed to attack when the floor changes color, movement is what gives you the debuff

That "shadow gather on the floor" mechanic, its totally fine to do any actions except moving. I was casting my dots but i didn't get any hand whatsoever

Gonna correct you with one of the Queen's mechanics, and that's the 2nd attack you mention which is the handslaps AoE. She has 2 patterns for that: you just have to see which wing is extending to which direction.

Actually when the floor turns red you can attack all you want. just don't move position. unless you get effected by it. then you should untarget and wait

Yeah as people say you can attack during the grabbing hands just don't move and your be fine :)

The "shadows on the floor" mechanic only gets me when actually moving. I can still cast as a WHM at that point.

Some people REALLY need this guide. All of my runs today could have been smoother if some players would either watch a guide or pay attention.

The orbs on Diabolos Hallow can be ignored. They pass through each other and off to the edge of the arena where they just vanish.

+MrHappy1227 Are you certain about dropping target when Scathach uses the grabby hands? I've kept attacking as a ninja and not been grabbed. As long as you don't move it should be fine.

you could almost say phase 1 of Diablos is sort of like a "add phase" then.

should really ask a friend what color the adds and mechanics really are before posting these guides. You subscribers know you are color blind but the rest of the viewers will end up getting confused because they don't know that.

Just did this last night, I was wondering why Diablolos was hitting me like a truck (Tank) and I died a few times and so did the other tanks, wonder why the healers weren’t paying attention to us but anyway we were close to killing him and I was about to die but I said nah boi GUNMETAL SOUL, I was met with “?????” In the chat but I have no regrets 😈

Huh. I did Dun Scaith blind on day one without any issues whatsoever. It's not as hard as Happy makes it out to be.
