YES! Would love more breakdowns on the heavier covers like when that part starts at 0:39. Wish more rock/metal covers would just casually have breakdowns. Especially FFXIV covers!

Every time you upload, I get excited to hear the 'rock' version, but what makes it even better is your spin on the second half of most if not all of your covers. Absolutely amazing. This will make slogging through phase 1 a lot more tolerable haha

When this song came out, I was genuinely disappointed. It just... didn't feel like the "final raid" theme I was hoping for (Yes, I'm aware of the Extreme being the actual final music, which was better imo). Then you release this and make me rethink that opinion. :D

I don't think the original is *bad*, and it blows a lot of other game music out of the water, but it did feel like it would have been better as the score for a cutscene than as a boss theme. I feel like all of the component parts were great especially the big dramatic transition at the start. But whereas most FFXIV pay some tricks so they feel like you're repeatedly up-shifting the energy level, except for maybe one or two points where it resets, Promises to Keep feels like the energy keeps falling off a cliff. And when it does actually build and resolve it never quite makes it all the way to the epic resolution it's promising. Husky's arrangement is definitely helped by filling in some of the gaps & low points. It makes the overall ride a bit flatter, which might not sound like a positive, but I think helps a loooot here...

I always found E12 to be a very disappointing encounter because they show a lot of Ultimecia related things and decided to not actually use Ultimecia's likeness, but I can at least appreciate the music.
