2.0 and 3.0 were HARD. I think Pepsiman Savage almost killed the FF14 raiding scene due to how difficult it was.

I know in WoW it’s usually World First Mythic but how does FF14 work? I assume the highest savage lvl?

Savage is the highest raid difficulty, then above that there's Ultimate that are fight designed just to be super punishing and pain in the ass, for people looking for really hard fight

I never understood Elysium's "エリュシオン" Katakana. Read out it would be "Eryushion." It's closer to the American 'Illusion.' "エリシアム" would be much simpler and read like "Erishiamu" though the u at the end isn't stressed at all.

エリュシオン (or the lengthened エーリュシオン) is the more standardized reading. Looks like it's based off the original Ancient Greek pronunciation, rather than the Latin pronunciation "Elysium". Though I'm not an Ancient Greek so I can't attest to how accurate the approximation is. ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/エーリュシオン

Because coil didn't have a normal mode, the only mode was akin to savage, and for the second coil they released "savage" fights at the time which were an experiment, harder fights but same loot as normal mode with titles as reward, they were like small ultimates

Last video makes no sense cus its not a world first clear. Players had Verminion Cloaks on in the end of the cutscene for the Proto Ozma fight. Which means they already had cleared it to earn those rewards. Which more eureka stats you have makes those fights way easier.

You don't need to clear BA to get the cryptic seals/damascene cloths, they're random drops from chests in the instance and even if you wipe and have to leave you still keep what you got

Kinda sad to see, how early people started using 3rd party tools already in this game. First few raids without them were simply the best, no matter what. Mentality was different.
