If this dlc was the "prologue" of Final Fantasy XV, we would certainly have another impression of the game, a new narrative, and a very good one by the way... a pity, but even so, it completed the story very well.
Personally, Ardyn is the greatest character in FF. Ive always sided with antagonists. He was back stabbed, forced to spemd thousands of years with his healing magic constantly healing him and keeping him alive as harpoons impailed him minimizing his magic. All while siding with the enemy amd using them for his own agenda. He helped noctis who he was a martyr for and was a gentleman throughout noctis adventure. (Spoiler) he either accepted his fate amd wemt aling with it or defied it amd still wemt along with it.
Cool detail about Ardyn's choice. If Ardyn denied his fate it open door to the second final of the story. Unfortunately the DLC was canceled but the book Dawn of the Future show it. I will not give spoiler but it is amazing. =)
At the end of the game my first instinct is to defy the gods fate for me lmao later I go back to see what going with the flow gets me, poor poor Ardyn.
@@xDIAMONDDOGx579 the thing with the gods is that the prophecy would guarantee that the Scourge brought by Solheim would be rid forever from the World. The whole Ardyn story is him trying to cheat the whole "Demon King x King of Light" and the sacrifice that comes with it....a gamble when you could just follow fate and be certain of it.
I know........ it's so disappointing. Massive letdown. I wonder what's keeping it from being on there? Some kind of permission not given by someone or some side? I dunno..
In Game this IS like i need a Hero for a villiain, like Shrek 2, but ardyn IS going on their way to get revenge and Shrek IS going to rescue fiona, Shrek uses a giant cookie and ardyn uses ifrit to go to the Castle LOL.
We all need therapy. Unfortunately, it can only take us so far. Take control of your life and feelings… do no harm… but fear not to assert your needs and use skills of empathy/pain to help others. Not everyone deserves your time and energy. You will know who does.
I think this song is not even good but I listen to it very veeery often this days... I think it just gives me that"I don't give a sh*"-vibes I realy need ...^^
@@Ruben.Studio The fun thing is..ingame was it annoying for me too..xD" It's just a good song when you are pissed.^^ At the moment I listen to metal in this situation.
@@Ruben.Studio Yeah I grew up with metal.^^ My parents loved Black Metal but I prefer melodic metal or opera style like Epica. My absolute fav at the moment is Skeleton Key"from Epica
I'm not religious and haven't experienced any life things or whatever to counter my speculation of fate/destiny/religion. I think most of it is crap. Sure, morals/values of certain things can be applicable and good for mankind... but so is reasoning, taking responsibility for one's actions, and not pretending we are destined or fated to something. In this universe, there is clear PROOF of astrals/gods and overseeing power...... and yet it's just ok that they aren't aware of it until they experience trauma? Or whatever the fuck else the gods choose to use humans for? Just seems very shitty. Somnus (in my opinion) will never be good. He chose to make Ardyn terrible and fucking murder the love of his life cuz... he wanted it... not cuz he needed to. I'm sure Ardyn and his "flaws" weren't absolute and humans are not so "preordained" and destined. We can grow and change and learn and be what we need to be. Ardyn didn't fucking need to be sacrificed. His gf neither. The whole shit was a game controlled by the gods and in a world where no one has "free will" or the ability to even choose the most BASIC of their actions without a god ruining them........ not even a human imperial/goverment force.... literally an uncontrollable being.... I heavily side with Ardyn and tbh don't necessarily agree with all of his actions but... if put in that universe of shit... I don't blame him. He is legit my fave character and... I love the boys as well but they just... fuck. It's very sad all around.
It’s ok if you aren’t religious, it’s cool that you see that there is some kind of higher power at work, as a Christian it’s one of the things that enforces my faith in God, nature is a beautiful creation
@@BigYosh - I’m right there with you. I’m a Christian too but I’ve studied all of the sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, etc) on a collegiate level. So I’m very familiar with the atheist mindset. And yet I can only ever arrive at one conclusion: nothing in our universe is a product of chaos. No matter how nuanced it gets, there’s still a rhyme to the reason (for reference, the 3-6-9 code of mathematics)
People look at "Final Fantasy XV" and do not understand one important thing, that it is not a fantasy at all, but information from past events presented to the masses. But a lot of things are distorted. In fact, there was no Somnus in history. Era was killed by Maralith and Era was reincarnated as Noctis Lucis. This is karma. Noctis Lucis is Era. Her reincarnation. This was what broke Ardyn. Ardyn read Noctis' soul memory. Ardyn is Jesus Christ, Koschey the Immortal, Poseidon. Noctis Lucis - Lucifer, Budha, Arthur Pendragon, Dazhbog, Perseus, Mercury. Maralit is Mara, Mary Magdalene, fairy Morgana, Hel, Molo, Moloch, Baba Yaga, Andromeda, Medusa Gorgon, Lilith. Regis Lucis is Zeus, Perun, Merlin, Jupiter, Belobog, Brahaspati. There was also Semargl. But Semargl is not a man, but a flying dog.
@@kuronyra1709 Yes, but that artist caché didn't work for the game episode. Cause any artist is perfect. And the music and sounds of FF XV sadly are not good mix with some situations of the game, what makes a good music in cases a headache. Literally I turn off the music in this part.
@@Ruben.Studio Still, sad because it actually completly join with the Character of Ardyn who's basicly letting it lose and just want to destroy the whole damn capital and finally get his revenge. And that is BEFORE he get the explainations as to WHEN he will truly be able to get his revenge and get peace. It's his rage in music form. And the way it contrast with the rest of the soundtracks is exactly because of how particular Ardyn is compared to the entire cast. It fit him perfectly. Because behind all the class and charisam of Ardyn, there is a broken man that just want to scream in rage.
@@kuronyra1709 Yes, I don't complain about the song itself and if made to seem as it I say know that what actually happen in my opinion and not just in this episode is that even all the soundtrack of the game is amazing, the fact that it is music for a game changes the rules of using it. Just think that in the game the music should have a dinamism depending of situations and the music give the emphasis to a change between one situation and another. In this case the song makes very plain the differences between fight situation, exploring situation, etc. Remember that there is a exploring moment and with this music can be very estressful even that the song fits with Ardyn conscience moment. In my opinion this song should be emphasized for fight moments not as a loop all the gameplay time. The whole game have this music problem. For example there are situation when if you do some actions the music stops and don't return till long time and other little action can stop it again. What bothers me a lot is that I couldn't ride a Chocobo without that chocobo's song all the time sounding, would be amazing.
the song is so good but it just got really annoying because you have to listen to it on loop for like 3 hours I GET IT, BECOME THE KING OF THE KINGDOM YES I KNOW "THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE" YOUVE TOLD ME A MILLION TIMES
