FINAL FANTASY XVI - 2.300.000ish Stagger Damage (9x Level Max Zantetsuken) 

This is actually the best build in the game. Its versatile cos all small mobs can be cleared with Zant and it can easily melt bosses. The end game accessories are so OP.

i believe both pull of darkness and breath of darkness are the dancing steel versions right?

​@@yuzuki2385it didn't do damage cause the boss was at the phase end and when the stagger ends he goes next phase. That's why it looks like it doesn't do any damage

I disagree. I think FF16 didn’t sell well simply because it’s just not a good game. Graphics, animations, combat, exploration, and even the story were all lackluster. There is no argument for it’s a good game, it didn’t sell enough to be considered good and it doesn’t play good. No opinion matters when facts defeat your opinions.

@@widyavello4335 finally, I've complete the 1st playthrough I'm stupefy by the endings I belive Clive dan Joshua Alive, my theory is : 1. Joshua's limited by his health upon casting the most Ultimate Phoenix magic, Arise, but Clive could perform it since he absorbs Ultima power and cast it to Joshua before destroying the Origin 2. I pause the game during Jill n Torgal seing a new dawn it's a small ship coming toward the Hideway, I belive its Clive 3. Clive petrify only his left Wrist, the petrification process stop because at at the same magick has vanished along with the Origin 4. how the epilogue show a Final Fantasy by Joshua R, and lots of people consider magick eikon etc only a myth clearly indicates that Clive is the only person to meet the Record Keeper secret clan in one of the near end sidequest and use this secret clan's specialty to write history wow, onto the 11th Zantetsuken Vids cheers

It’s due to animation, helps with the rotation time

flames of rebirth is only good for stalling. earthen fury has short animation, too short even, the shortest among all ultimates. as for aerial blast, its damage is not explosive enough and everything becomes unseeable 😂

limit break purposes - to cancel animations - to increade damage - to be used as filler during cooldown i turned it on and off to ration limit break gauge, i will be screwed if i deplete the entire bar

story bosses have health gate, mainly to initiate cutscenes or phase change. other bosses such as mobhunts don't have cap damage, they can be one-shot

plot armor (QTEs moment, etc)

with 11 zantetsuken, ultimate demise, tsunamis and assailment bit, it could theoretically go as high as 3 million damage 🤔

LB activation can also be used as buffer for cooldown

Its a phase transition. Bosses dont get damaged If they're reaching the next phase but they still let you finish your stagger. This combo is too strong. Its so much damage there is no boss that could tank this normally.

Zantetsuken appears to be the only time you are wearing stagger bar time loss, if you didn’t do zantetsuken and just kept rotating frostbite into other moves, I feel like you could do this forever

@@An00bisY00tubisand that's probably why they put a stagger health limit lol. Its frustrating but I do try to make a note of when the health bar stops going down and just start charging another zantetsuken, but i guess its to discourage us from completely cheesing the bosses.

@@Carsu12 I don’t think there is a stagger health limit, only on this boss since there’s a qte at the end and CID kills it I think

@@Carsu12 yeah its that usually the boss gets some kind of powerup, or they go into their ultimate move that you cant kill them before that plays. It's basically a new phase of the fight so you cant kill them before then. You can usually kill all the staggered mini boss tho.

have you tried rift slip as well? it helps extending the freeze effect from cold snap. there are maximum numbers you can spam cold snap without the stagger getting refill. that number is two. more than two, then you need to put some filler such as limit break animation

my damage output will seriously get hurt then 😭 part of the reason is because setting up lightning rod doesn't stop stagger duration, also my dancing steel can get maximum gauge without lightning rod already. and i no longer pair lightning rod with gigaflare because i don't execute gigaflare as main damage dealer anymore, just staller/buffer move

this stage is called the greatwood, it's after clive got to visit the hideaway the first time. i made a save point just before fighting fafnir for....experimentation and research 😂

maxing out level to 100 is easy on new game plus, don't grind/farm on new game, it's a waste of time

usually, there are qte, but fafnir doesn't have one and yet its health is still gated. I tried every story bosses and they all can't be one-shot

It only takes away the remains in the same gauge, at least I don’t think I needed any gears for that

when we turn off/undo limit break prematurely, only a single portion is sacrificed. but if you observe it closely, my limit break bar is ticking up and down, the secret is lionheart tonic, it regenerates limit break but also extends the duration. hope this information is helpful 😊

@@LhLeo but that's the thing. It legit takes the whoooole thing away. Let's say I have 4 bars. I use 1/2 of a bar. I lose the remaining 3.5 bars. So maybe it's just a bug on my end. I'll give it another go though. Ty

i have some ideas for speed stagger initiation, it includes will o' wykes, impulse, rift slip, and lightning rod. but since my level is already max out, my will damage will differ a lot to those with lower level. so i'm not sure if it's viable for non-level 100 players 😢

no, I did only once, to initiate stagger, right before unleashing megaflare fafnir's will gauge is too delicate so i often initiated stagger accidentally because i attacked too aggressively 😅😅

Many of the bosses have health gates ; where they stop taking health damage (though you can still build damage in the stagger phase for a bigger number, the HP bar won't drop), once you reach that point there is no point doing any more damage. Ideally you would want to manage the damage you are doing to the point where you can match the health gate to when the boss stops being staggered to reduce any excess time. Also, speed-runs largely don't take place on NG+, but there will more than likely be a category for it.

but dealing more than 500.000+ damage is time wasting, bosses have health gate and mob hunts don't have that much HP. this showcase is just for fun, not practical at all 😢

@@widyavello4335 I think I just happened to decide to watch a fight where the camera does some work on it's own. Some fights are zoomed in, some fights the camera pulls out to give you vision, but it also might have to do with no staying locked on and being able to angle it yourself better to your preference.
