How to tell a person understands Final Fantasy music without saying a person understands Final Fantasy music. Being able to listen to a track that actually does make you imagine it's from FF 16 is so satisfying.
My man this is fantastic! They should hire you for even a small Easter egg track. You are giving it your all on these compositions. I think a small cameo by you would be perfect!!!🎧🎵
They really should. But not for FF16. I would rather have this man make a Trial Sound track for New FF14 expansion. Like an actual thing MILLIONS of people are going to play multiple times. Cuz we all know many ppl just play a FF game 1 or 2 times at most. Unless ur a real fan. If he did a OST in the MMO you could actualy listen to the OST many times
Being a huge fan of both FFVIII, and FFXIV, that's it. This would fit with either of those games so naturally, and to me, that means it would be super natural in any FF game. Goddamn did this give me chills.
Pierce the Heavens this is actually a really freaking banger song title and song, I love it! Souken and company gotta bring you in as a special guest music composer for a few songs for XVI
Man, what a genius you are! This track is both epic and beautiful, and the way it builds on the hype factor is crazy. Nearing the end it somehow gets even better. 10/10 right here!
It's amazing. I feel a lot of XV/Shimomura influence. I'm not musician and don't know what I'm talking about but, I feel like it could benefit of that one catchy moment that stays in our head when we're not playing, that one thing that makes it unique and memorable.
Man, that section starting at 1:27 and 3:18 blends styles of Hollow Knight with Final Fantasy excellently unless my ears deceive me. I can see why you listed Larkin. This is some stellar work!
Alex! Such a fantastic piece! I can hear slight influences from FF 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15. Basically from all composers that have worked on FF. I really hope someone at SE hears this and decides to put it in the game as an easter egg. The choir bit, sublime!
I'm not versed in musical terminology, but I confidently say that this was a joy to listen to. The strings were especially great! And I have a soft spot for epic choirs. Great, as always!
I think the most impressive thing to me about this is how much it sounds like it fits in the FF universe. If I didn't already know this was an imagined piece and you told me this was the new FF theme I'd believe it without question.
You did such an amazing job. As a creator as well, its so special to insert yourself into a game you love and create something within its world. I’m sure you’re just as proud of it!
I still can't get over how good this sounds. Gotta appreciate the very shimomura-esque violins! After the new trailer, my excitement is further renewed and I'm back to listening to this ad infinitum. Thank you for your beyond-fantastic work!
Can't help but tear up listening to this! Amazing work Alex! Truly epic and really shows creative influences from so many Final Fantasy composers as well as your own flair!
Listening to this after listening to the new trailer is really enlightening. You really nailed some of the broader motifs Soken seems to be going for, even if it isn’t 1:1 - like the way all of the instruments seem to soar during the Eikon segments.
This is absolutely amazing! Excellent work. This track could easily find a home in an FF OST. When it starts, I can't help but imagine the random encounter and this track starts as the screen blurs and transitions into battle.
You did such a great job with this would definitely love to see you get some guest tracks on the game. Also 0:50 the first notes remind me of Naito’s Theme in which is a personal bonus & makes it even better
Absolute Fire as always! The day Square Scoops you up and we don't get to hear your work until it's released with the final product is going to be a sad day lol. Enjoy it while he's with us now everyone!
Man, this came out so well, and what a title! I'd happy fight Coeurl, Tonberry and Behemoth with this in the background. It flows so well, you can feel so many different inspirations throughout, but they truly shine together to make something unique. Amazing work, seriously, when will SE actually bring you on to do music for a game!
Absolutely fantastic! Fits so well that I'm even imagining your own reaction video as if this were a track you were reviewing from the game, rather than your own work, complete with epic "oh shit" moments lol. Steller work; I really hope we get to see your name in some Square Enix credit sequences soon man.
You nailed perfectly it has a uematsu that just chills through your spine its as if your the one fighting the boss not the character it also has a bit of FF1 vibe into it
I pray that the Square Enix Would Really Adopt Your Music As One Of Their Final Fantasy 16 Theme.... Its too awesome, man, its like ringing to my ears everytime....
This screams classic final fantasy, most noticeably FF12 and a "modern" FF tactics (which makes sense seing how Ivalice is a huge inspiration for this games world). Simply amazing.
Kinda sad that there wasn't any of Alex's vocals in this track.....Uh, I know what y'all are thinking, "You only come on his channel to yell at him to start singing more!" And to you I say.....um....uh..... I'll see myself out. All jokes aside, this is awesome! Keep up the good work!
If this was on anything other than the primary villain I would be so shook. Would set such a precedent for the entire game that I'd have chills for the future encounters.
