I echo the same as well... Such a well crafted game. I remember seeing the announcement and finding the whole premise/game/show dull and uninteresting. Then I got the game.... it is one of the very few times where a game surprised me positively so much! I consider it one of my favorite FFs of all time and I place it above some old FF games that I never thought I would do.

Same feeling of separation anxiety 😢 I could only imagine what great projects the FF16 team would work on going forward. Still hoping we get to see more FF16 content though 😂, even if that would be in the far future.

Really wish they added a toggle to turn off combat music during exploration. Felt the same way.

I think those people are just mad that this didn't add/change anything to the base game ending. I've seen quite a few people who were mad about that at least. Which is odd because Yoshi-P has said numerous times that Rising Tide wouldn't be doing any of that.

@@miavileunevue2463 The number of people angry and refusing to accept that Clive has died, IMO shows how dumb many gamers are. They are infantile men-children that refuse to have a tragic ending and need their protag to come home alive after defeating God, like some American C movie.

@@Bahamut998 I mean, is not clear if Clive died or not, is up to the player, but seems like people do not know how to interpretate narratives or histories

@@darshio8307 I think that if you played FF16 is kind of hardcore way as I did, and unlocked Hypocrates lore entries to 100% and really understand how the "science" works in this game, you will understand that the stone curse, Clive frying his circuits with all the aether in the world, is a wound that one does not recover from. Its made abundantly clear throughout the game that people fry themselves with aether and can't come back from the stone curse. Clive should have ended like Titan, but for aesthetic reasons they probably didn't want to show him as a full stone statue, it would have been too brutal.

@@Bahamut998 Yeah, at first it was clear for me that Clive died, but there is plenty of evidence that it might be the other way around, like the side quests, the book, Jill's smile etc. the fact that the team behind it refuses to answer wheter he died or not makes it clear that it might be both, the message of the game is about believing in a better world even if the world itself doesn't seem to be improving, i chose to believe he or Joshua survived, but i do not have any problem with clive dying at all. As I said, at the end is up to the player

It was just too short. They promised better exploration and all they gave us was extra crystals to search for. So much could have been done to make it better. It was still good and I enjoyed the hell out of it but it could have been better.

I left some sidequests and hunts unfinished so I’d have more stuff to use Leviathan’s abilities on. Leviathan is really cool and changes the game with his mobility and long range attacks.

i’m a newcomer to ff7, rebirth is goty and blows 16 out of the water sadly

@G13ULTRA it don't lol 16 changed boss fights forever. I literally did sephiroth fight at the end and was like "meh"
