6:58 This is one of the most emotional endings of Erik and Christine I've ever seen! When they hold each other's hands they're like indulging in the truth that they share the same emotions. I can imagine a scene where Phantom and Christine are slow dancing in a dark place whilst an All I Ask Of You reprise is playing on the far background

Came here after three days of being obsessed with Tanz and this guy as Krolock and wow, he doesn’t disappoint. I planned to watch his boots after finishing Tanz but I got a little carried away 😂 but damn, he’s truly amazing. As Erik and as Krolock. I watched a boot by GP and was disappointed but here.... HERE! He truly shines! The despair, the bit of lunacy, the hopefulness, the fear! Despair when he tells Christine to choose. Like he basically runs around trying desperately to make her choose him, also when he talks about his mother. Lunacy at the beginning that buildup to him strangling Raoul. Like he was seriously very scary there. He has a temper you absolutely don’t want to test because you have no idea what he could do when he reaches his limit. Hopefulness... the way he leapt to his feet and runs to her, saw the ring and paused, decides to take her hand instead. He clearly thought there might be a change for them, even though it was very unlikely. But still it seems like he was trying to convince her to stay! Fear, when he stumbled backwards and away from her! In the boot I’ve seen he basically froze during the kiss but in here he seems to be more expressive and even more so when he pulled away! Actually this is probably more surprised than fear?? But I think it’s there too, like he was afraid of what else she might make him feel. That kiss was already overwhelming enough, after all. Another thing I live for is how he sobs onto the veil at the end, it seems like he was either shaking or just rocking himself back and forth. You could feel his sorrow by the way he holds the veil. I’m also convinced that I heard his small sobs... very heartbreaking. His voice doesn’t even need to be talked about anymore at this point. He conveys the emotions very clearly in his voice: intimidating and dark, desperate and raging, to soft and hopeful. Literally can’t see his expressions clearly here but I guess you can see his body language lol. His voice is also much more powerful and emotional at the end here than in the boot I watched. He’s so great as both Erik and Krolock 😭 it’s now almost 1 am and I’ve been going through this thing for an hour now... conclusion is, Ivan is a god 😔 ❤️

things I love about this: -how Christine protects Raoul and the Phantom backs away when she steps towards him -how Raoul tries to get to the Phantom and Christine stops him -how Christine kind of falls under the Phantoms spell for a second and Raoul gently turns her face away from the Phantom. -everything basically
