Great race! To hear Tony Stewart say “that was the most fun I’ve had in a race car in a long time”, was awesome. He certainly adds credibility to the race.

I've seen a lot of speculation that maybe Tony did it on purpose to let someone who mattered to the series win. If a pro can come in and win every race then it could make the series boring. Either that or he was too hungry for that win and over cooked it.
@@knight838_ there is no chance Tony Stewart is letting anyone win you can see he was pushing it to hard and was in the outside of the track where all the tire marbles go and got loose
I think he was trying to get Zack’s car to hold him in the corner, but it didnt hold him and spun, I know what he trying to do, alittle different in a nascar then a street car
It's like JR has something against RU-vidrs just think about it he has not done anything with any RU-vidrs and the funny thing is his podcast makes a ton of money off RU-vid it makes no sense to me!
I absolutely cant believe it. Zach is the goat for holding his own against tony. Incredible race. I think its the best finish of any cleetus race ever. Well done zach. Well friggin done.

After watching it one time it looked like Zack had started to loose it and saved it on the lap before. When Tony lost control and his rear end kicked out Tony had no help he was just going for it and lost the rear end and slide out all on his own. Tony didn’t need help loosing the backend. That’s racing and was a fun night of racing. After seeing the second view they were rubbing and bumping lightly and a rub bump possibly offset Tony’s car so the backend came out. Great racing on both of their parts.
I’ve been watching professional racing for 40 years & these events seem to be more exciting & genuine than any Pro race these days! Thanks for the video.
how about " I out drove Tony Stewart that day, he came down on me hit me and spun" and now I have a new big block for my burnout car (that cleetus bought him) and I've never seen any as happy at the end of a race who was spun out for the win. but hey headlines make for views.
Great ending to a great race! Zack held his line and Tony pushed it to the limit! Wish Tony had jumped out and done the old helmet throw ! That would have been hilarious 😂😂 GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH!!!👍👍
I think Tony was trying to stay with Zach’s line and needed to ride his door to do it… but Zach went hard on the brakes which put Tony’s car half a car ahead of him. That caused the bump to upset Tony’s car.
Good on Zach!! I dont think many have noticed how good of a wheel man he actually is. Every burnout comp he is in he swings the hell out of the car with a blade of grass thickness near the wall and doesnt tap. He can drive sideways as well as he can forward.. Happy for him

I met Zach at 2K 24 this year and he’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever spoke to. He actually stood there and had a conversation with me and my girlfriend and my son in his stroller. He actually took the time and we held a conversation for a while about how my grandfather and my grandmother both drag raced. He’s a great dude have happened to a better person.
Yea im going to call that a racing incident. Tbf Tony tried to sail it off into 3 and came down and Zack probably learned from getting loose the previous 2 turns to not try and go to low to keep from getting loose again.
he kept his line, both of their tires were shot and were right on the edge, Tony just gave it a little too much dove down into Zach and it loosened him up a ton. What a badass story Zach will have for the rest of his life, wheel to wheel with a legend...and WON.
Derek literally is ALWAYS right there at the end so long as he's not dumped, but he has been the most consistently top performing driver in all Cleet's races so mad respect to anyone that can run with and/or beat Derek who btw was right there with Tony Stewart I mean I don't think he actually dumped Tony but I know I would have traded paint for sure I mean it's Tony Stewart and you have a chance to beat him... but congrats Zach couldn't have happened to a better dude...
The irony is Zack was running the interstate batteries #18 green car like Tony's nemesis ran for years Kyle fuckin Busch I'm surprised Tony didn't fist fight Zack after the race
Tony took himself out by throwing an elbow out, he wanted Zack to earn it, which he did! Tony does not need another trophy, & he was genuinely happy for Zach. Tony handled it like a true pro! Ps, Tony took no tires, he could drive the car at speed, and not abuse it.
Tony managed to get sideswiped, then spin it around without hitting anything but wall. Just glad to see bigger stars joining the cleetus club. Makes me feel better about the future of racing
