I stumbled across the sentencing of Shakira's murderers and I can say not many thing can make me cry as a man, but here I sit in tears of sorrow for Shakira. I feel pure disgust at these people and believe that Richardson was the main instigator of the long-term frenzy of violence inflicted on this poor, poor woman.

I watched the summary of the judge's sentencing and the detail of the debased horror inflicted on Shakira was enough to bring a grown man to tears.💔 The judge was flawless in her scolding of the killers and ordered them to stand and be immediately taken away. They will live out their days locked away in torment for what they caused Shakira to endure. My sincerest condolences to the family and children of Shakira. Her final days were brutal and horrific but she is now free from these evildoers and the pain. May she rest in peace.🙏🏾

I don't understand "Why' her family was not checking in on her, regardless of their attempts to isolate her. What about a Welfare check. Why didn't a neighbor called authorities after they could see her decline? Certainly they had to know something wasn't right.

A similar happened to me when I was 11 and I was kidnapped by 2 women. One was younger and the other lady was in her 20s I Was tortured, burnt, locked in cupboards, they attempted and failed to get me into prostitution and cut with knives,. Plus more. They even brang other adults to the house and not one tried to help. I was going to jump out of the window as I was locked in the flat. Then one day they took me out. I tried to get away from them by asking a taxi driver to help me get to Kennington as I had a friend there and I explained to the cab driver what was happening to me and then he said he'd only help me if I let him do sexual things to me. He then leant over grabbed my breast, I was 11 he was an adult man. I then jumped out the taxi and I had nowhere to go. I thought they'd come looking for me so I had no choice but to go back to the evil women's house. Not only that but social services put me and one the evil girls who was younger in the same children's home so we were locked together for months even though I had a courtcase against them. ??? Her brother then got access to me while in care and treated to assault he raped me with his friend! At thar point I was 12. So yep. That's just a brief overview of what happened. It was 100 times worse than this plus this was under social services watch who removed me from my mum as they said I needed to be kept safe! Huh such a joke. You can't trust anyone is what I learnt. Not even the professionals supposed to be in a position of trust.

They murderers had absolutely no reason to do this. Shakira’s mind wasn’t good or she would have gone for help. They 3 deserve life, this poor woman suffered at the hands of evil. Rest in peace Shakira.

This is a very disturbing run of events of this poor woman who I share the same name with. To hear my name used over and over in such a horrific event is extra chilling. Seeing a battered Shakira walking into that flat and to know that she will sadly never get to recover from her injuries. I feel for her children, especially as they comprehend what their Mum went through. I pray for true Justice for Shakira's family. Such cruelty, for money? Was is jealousy too? Council properties have become a dumping ground as Councils cannot afford the care that someone like Shakira needed. Police officers are NOT social workers. Clearly Shakira did not have the mental capacity to live unassisted, she needed supported living arrangements. But with 40% cuts to Council budgets by the Tories, the local Council probably did not have the resources to dedicate to her the type of care she needed.

This is the sort of crime that demands Capital Punishment. Screw Prison.😠

I agree with you but as you say living in secure hostels etc wasn't ideal but it was wrong to release so many into the community to fend for themselves. They were and are vulnerable. Poor girl. Some people are just nasty bullies, but the three of them got their comeuppance for the murder of Shakira.
