At 24:00, that's the Positive Train Control (PTC) screen. In the real world, it would show you signals ahead and their indication. So if you have a Stop Signal ahead, it would tell you and show you the Approach signals as well. It also shows your current speed limit, and any upcoming speed restrictions or reductions. The idea of it is to prevent Stop Signal violations and speeding incidents.
When you run trains with the md15, gp38 and sd-40 and stuff you should open the front door on a warm day so more air can make it into the cabin, just something to make it more realistic

you got that right jeff great call, im trying to tell my mom to not watch the news and what not. very good call. since i have a computer, most of the time im on the computer. and yes i do get interested in movies and such like that. positivity is key.
Hey Jeff I don't know if you saw it but x plane 11 is able to use Vulcan and frames have increased 3 times for me, the tbm 900 also got an update that makes it have less of a frame rate drop, I don't think I'm the only one who want the tbm in x plane, hope you see this. Thank you for all you do Jeff!!
The lack of working computers and Head End Devices has been one of my biggest gripes about the Dovetail addons. They are part-and-parcel to operation of a locomotive in the real world and were present in Microsoft Train Simulator, so the fact they choose not to do it with the new releases is one of the most disappointing things and one of main reasons I've not been playing their releases in recent years.
Jeff I had a situation while I was running freight with csx. I got out of the cab while the train was at speed and when I went to get back in it wouldn't let me. Tried opening and closing the door. Had no control of the train. I was getting nervous. Luckily I could just barely reach the lever for the automatic break and I pulled that sucker all the way to emergency. Once the train stopped I was able to walk back in the cab. Just thought I'd share I'm experience. Yall stay safe!! Miss the podcast by the way.
Not too bad. Finally got a load back to Texas. Cheap pay but can’t stay in Oregon forever. Actually why I was sitting I got on my Xbox and started Grid 2. Have this game on Xbox as well. Thinking bout trying this game out after Grid 2 is finished. Have a great weekend Jeff
Love seeing the Trains videos. Are you thinking about Trainz Railroad Simulator? Massive sale on it right now, I am hedging on whether to try it but need to clear some hard drive space before playing anything right now. Still need to play TS2020 first as well as the workshop content I'm downloading. LOL
due to limitations of Train Sim World 2020 the signal read out in the upper right doesn't match to the track signals, the signal @10:23 is called an Approach Medium. (APPROACH MEDIUM : Proceed prepared to pass the next signal at Medium Speed.)
my nanny watches the news CONSTANTLY and its really starting to get on my nerves because she said this to my parents "you don't want to send them back to school to die" in my county there is about 20 cases most of them have recovered

I'd love to see derail valley, but I think it might be a good idea to wait until they release their overhauled update. Maybe one first video before that update to show what the game is like before then though.
I've been watching a few of your older videos and a couple of the newer ones. Did you ever figure out which brakes for which use? If not... Independent/Locomotive Brake is for the Locomotive ONLY. Also good for stopping from slow speeds with a train. The Train Brake, as you know, is for the entire train. The Dynamic Brake is to control your downhill speed, while running at speed. Hope that helps. Love your videos... especially during this virus issue.

Watching fun and exciting videos keep me in a positive mood. Me and my mom don't watch much of the news and do get outside or going shopping or work during this pandemic and hopefully soon things can resume again

The AC4400 is an older GE model. The biggest difference might be in the prime movers with the AC44 having an FDL-16 and the ES44C4 having the GEVO-12. Also, the ES44C4 has an unpowered middle truck that is raised up off of the rail. If the onboard computer detects a wheelslip, it'll drop that wheel onto the rail to improve the weight distribution and tractive effort. There are also tons of electrical and computer improvements from the AC44 and ES44.
13:55 - How come there’s 3 lights stacked over the left side track, with the top & bottom red and only the middle green? From that information, how do you know you can go? And who would be stopping for the other red lights, if they were on the same track as you? It’s kind of confusing.
Red over green means diverging clear. It means you'll be switching tracks (usually to a siding to wait for a train or a passing siding to go around another train.) Think of it like have the right of way for a left turn on a green arrow at an intersection. In the way of railroading, as long as your signals are green, that means your current block is clear and you can proceed. Once signals start turning yellow that is an advisory to slow down. And obviously red indicates stop

I wish they would bring train simulator to the Nitendo Switch consoles through physical game card format for purchase , I'd absolutely love it if the developers would make it available for Switch console.
I’m not sure why the sim has the automatic cut out and the independent brakes cut out in reality those are not cut when engine is parked due to the brakes releasing the brakes will release when the engine is shut down
