ORT calmly explores the labyrinth, this being the 8th time he is trapped inside it during the fight. This escape is taking longer than usual. Suddenly it sees light around a corner and hears a voice as it moves towards the source. "You think you have it bad, huh?". The type finally gets close enough to see who this voice belongs to only to find a humanoid creature sitting in front of a campfire, his eyes lost in the flames. Goetia: For me it was two of them.
I love how Asterios, 1* Berserker, is a key player versus a 7-breakbar Foreigner boss. Zerk defensive NP gain + Chaos Labyrinth stacking just lets him really pop off versus any multihit AoE enemy, it's so cool.
In some ways, having a 1 star that everyone has be a great key to a specific type of encounter is peak game design. But you just know his kit's power was on complete accident.
It makes sense lore-wise, too. ORT can probably handle any direct attack thrown at it effortlessly in normal circumstances; trapping it in a labyrinth and ambushing it repeatedly from all sides is the most realistic strategy against it.
@@simonbourdin2952 It even makes more sense lore-wise considering ORT doesn't seem to have crystal valley anymore in its Grand foreigner class container it made. So reality marble stacking/ Labyrinth spam working now when it didn't against its full body even makes more sense.
I don't play this game anymore, but I remember really liking Asterios. He was one of the first ten units I pulled and I relied heavily upon him. I also always had a particular fondness for lower-ranking units, so him being a 1-star probably contributed in that regard. He really is best boi.
ORT: Why won't you die!? Asterios: Chaos Labyrinth, son! They decrease ATK for all enemies (6 turns), and Further decrease ATK and DEF for all enemies by 40%!
We throw everything under the sun including the sun against ORT. The lostbelt took a backstep with the usual character centric stories but they gave ORT time to shine with the raids and showing how much off a threat he is (AND PHH ORT IS EVEN STRONGER). Definitely one of the best parts of the game. (Also ORT was a dragon all along)

A correction, LB ORT is the same ORT as PHH but becuz Camazotz stole his heart (kukulchan) so ORT is weaker As we see on this lb ORT art, he misses a core under his saucer disc, you can compare the two, identical, but lb misses the core.
God I'm so happy to see my boy Asterios making it this far in his journey. Plus the fact he's a key part of this fight makes it all the more exciting to see him last so long. One day you'll get the recognition that you deserve from Lasagna.
who would win in a fight 1 star berserker OR grand foreigner with 7 health bars (I mean, the Grand Foreigner did, obviously, but the fact that Asterios kept it in question for as long as he did is the truest sign of power)
@@ziggystardust1973 Oh, hell no. Even for LB history this guy is way too powerful to be bested by human means. We only really stalled for the only one who could finish this ORT off to do their thing.
Man knowing ORT summoned itself as a servant makes me wish we can properly summon it ourselves in the future, I love its design. (I consider Kuku to be "we have ORT at home")
I remember thinking, right after lb7 p2 dropped and everyone was sharing images without ay context, that this version of ort was kuku 3rd asc and that her becoming a complete ort will be how we will defeat it
Xu fu seems to have been a good addition to the 1-3 rooster huh. At first i thought she woulnt have a place since Hans is alredy soo good, but i have found myself using her in different comps than Hans, and even together, more often latelty. Also is a good excuse to let my bod 10 Hans finally rest a bit

Damn this is a fun fight. I wish we had that replay function even more now. Having NP 1 Bazett solo it was fun and all, but I kinda want to try other strats now.
I'm the kind of person that thinks some mysteries left unsolved add a lot of richness to world building, so if we never got to fight ORT in any nasuverse story I would be fine with it, gladly they managed to pull a nice middle ground with lost belt ORT not being quite the same as PHH ORT but still hype af
@@sigmaenjoyer7020 Lostbelt ORT is technically PHH ORT Same appearance The only difference that IF we are facing a full powered ORT instead the nerfed version. We won't last a second facing this in a battle. It's literally GAME OVER unless your unkillable like Camazotz
The only nightmarish trip of pain will be the final part of LB6 in terms of gameplay. ORT is long and time consuming, but that's about it. If you raise your servants at least to max ascend level, it's manageable (depending on your gadget).
This is damn amazing, as someone who recently built almost all the low stars (mainly for SQ), this is a backup plan in my pocket for when I get back to completing this place.
Ogla, Camazotz and ORT were really good and unique. I think the fights are especially vulnerable to be cheesed with high stars, thus people calling them easy. But for low stars it was honestly some very interesting fights Every major boss (minus tialoc) was good, but holy crap there was way to many filler trash mob fights.
Really cool that you can do this. I can barely get through these boss fights, and I have a ton of 5 stars (I don't grind materials a lot for skill leveling)
Xu Fu proving herself a blessing for F2P, though still kinda annoyed that she isn't quick support. You would think she would pick a card type that can support consort yu
Man after seeing ORT's many phases, I gotta say, I had House of the Dead 4 flashbacks to the final boss that's for sure, both are even taken out by sacrificial means, both bosses had insect themes, and both slumbered for a while and would have resulted in a direct game over for the protags.

At the final, ORT has 2 option: Fight an Alter Ego, which they have full class advantage against Foreigner or Fight an immortal dog with a stick. Either way, it's fucked.
Man it's such a pleasant surprise to hear 02's theme from Kirby against ORT. That is still the best Kirby boss theme for me til now, the "final boss" feeling is real. And ORT's fight deserves it.

I think the main advantage she has over other budget unit is her massive crit down so it's hard for other to replace. Though dunno, green man can tell better
ORT isn't Type Mercury, it never was, it was always written as Type Mercury (?). It's actually Type Oort Cloud. also the real question is "Can Dinosaur Shiki from LB7 who was our companion the whole time kill Servants".
