Tin Hifi C0 usually is more expensive but still a great purchase for that unique sound in this price range. Maybe Final Audio E500 can match the sound but C0 also is made of metal and has removable 2 pin cable. Real standout in this price range.
love your videos please do a video about best iems under 250$ or 300$ be it planar , BAs , single dd or multiple compare all together like sivga nightingle vs origin vs simgot ea1000 vs cadenza 4 vs chopin vs mp145 vs orchestra lite vs final audio a5000 thank you.
Most possibly you are referring to "a video like this one"; but you may have noticed that his spreadsheet is actually consisting IEMs of a much greater price range, as such you would have an idea of how he rates a serious amount of IEMS more expensive than these ones. Since as I get it: mostly he can only review the IEM's if they are sent lent to him to review or if he buys it.... the maths states that reviewing only four in that range would cost over a grand. In time I am sure an enthusiast as himself: something such should show up. But until some time passes and new models/improvements pop out: I would not be surprised if we don't see your request coming to life. Have a great day! PS: I do too... his has become the ONLY review I have developed a habit to take seriously (Save from taking apart videos from others). As since: 1_He has a respect to the viewer AND what he is reviewing serious. And takes a lot from his time to decently go through them. 2_ He reviews it in context that really matters to me in person.
Man almost 1 hour video kudos. Watching it eating my late dinner. Yes when seeing you order Ling Long the first video I kinda knew it will get some attention. For me Ling Long is in my cheap and cheerful category. Weirdly when if us Ling long it didn’t impress me until I listen to it again in the plane something happened suddenly sounded better after all that. Either me ear pressure pop or god knows. Anyway saw Geoff and interested to see him lol.
LOL, Geoff says thanks! Yes you can start with the highly affordable TINHIFI C0 Elf or Ling Long, both I would highly recommend, but get either Tanchjim Tanya or KBEAR Little Q if you like big Bass
Bravo! Love all your video contents so much. I'm wondering if there is a great pair of IEM for under $5. Have you come across any options that rival the KZ Ling Long? Thanks
Thanks! as far as I can tell, Tanchjim ZERO, KZ Ling Long and TIN HiFi C0 Elf are the very best for anything under $10, for under $5, most of them as you would see in this video, are fairly Bassy set and that would be quite appealing if you love that type of tuning
Good to see the quality of iems improving in the ultra-budget segment. (I was wrong, these are not muddy) You once did a review at a store for Moondrop B3, Variations, and Final Audio A5000. I want you to continue that style since all iems don't need to have a full review. I have a few iem requests to be tested; 7Hz Sonus, Simgot Supermix 4, Yanyin Canon 2.
Nice video but the actual scores are very odd. Listening to both the mt1 and zero, the scores are like in a marvel alternate universe or there is a mix up. The zero is in a different higher tier than the mt1 using various front ends. Tsk.
Fla improves a lot after burn in, more then any kz/cca I have had other then PR series.. It's actually astounding how much it improves, I accidently bought it thinking it's the same genetics as ZVX, but it's not, I said to myself, I don't care if it breaks or burned coil, I put it on very high volume, playing edm, for 20 hours or more, what a difference.. I really had them loud for this, you could hear it in the house.. I use it for movies now, good synergy with atmos, and very natural sounding human voices. Also good or great for psybient stuff. Very surprising, but narrow use case scenarios. Must be used very loudly. It's the most comfortable iem I own, which is great for movies.
Thank you for this video, I bought the KZ EDX Pro X for 20$ (my country has high taxes) being this the cheaper one I found, I'm glad an audiophile apreciates it, my hearing is not very good because of tinnitus but I wanted to enjoy good sound
Love this. The x2 pro is the same as AK6 Pro and is surprisingly good, I was expecting it to be muddy and horrible. Got mine for $2.50. I have $20 Azla tips on them lol. And upgraded cable too. They sound great. EDX Lite and Pro X are also very good, especially the Pro X. Just got tanchjim Tanya for $8, a steal, so good! I love budget gems and am a fan of good quality bass, especially when it's well balanxed, load it on 😁 I like all these sets better than WAN'ER which I find boring. I don't own TXS but have another budget set with same driver, it is a very good driver for anyone interested in modding or eq'ing. Too bad its so ugly! You can get ZVX and Dfi for $4.50! Insane!
Hello Bro Andy Please review : ✅ KZ Vader ✅ KZ Libra ✅ KZ Symphony ✅ KZ ZS10 Pro 2 ✅ CCA Duo ✅ CCA Rhapsody ✅ CCA Hydro ✅ CCA Polaris ✅ CCA Trio ✅ CCA Pianist Thank you Brother 🙏 👍 😁
Ha. Just posted this. Got ZVX for $4.50! Crazy. Very similar tuning to Delci. Def better build than most of these but sound is equally as good in a few of these and other sets not mentioned here.
Please lower your expectation since there is probability the driver in ZVX has been replaced with different one. And please expect disappointment on the eartips provided for both ZVX and D-Fi.
Cheap iems has improved a lot since 10 years ago. But recently I buy the Artti T10 and it opened my eyes to it worth to save a little more and buy a bit better.
thanks for the video! this is a VERY odd request, could you help us / me determine true wireless bluetooth adapters for IEMs? I really like your dongle and iem reviews and was thinking if you can explore this IEM accessory. Not many people have done reviews using these bluetooth adapters!
Thanks, just to clarify, I can't recommend something I haven't tried myself. And even worse, I haven't tried any of those BT adapters for IEMs yet. I will try to get some and start testing them. Cheers
@@donglemadness When it comes to the KZ/CCA adapters, I prefer the AZ09 Pro, BTX, and AZ20. QDC C-Pin able to be modified to std. B-Pin (flush). -AZ09: AVOID. QA issues, connection issues. No Qualcomm SoC. -AZ09 Pro: BT5.2, TWS+, CVC, Qualcomm QCC3040, AptX/SBC/AAC, Power Mode, Low Latency mode. Battery life 5-6 hrs. Case charge 8x. Price (
Hi Andy, I just receive a Tripowin Piccolo IEM today. I got this under 10 usd during 618 sales. Are you interested to review this unit? I would happily courier to you.
Thanks for your extensive comparison. Can you add a 'price range' field in your spreadsheet? Under $10, Under $30, Under $50, Under $100, Under $200, etc... Or am I missing something? Or maybe add the top five 'best value' options for each grade segment?
Btw andy, the KZ zvx got silent revisioned to use edx lite drivers now. I would recommend the linglong or d-fi over the the kz zvx now. The linglong use the same drivers as zvx, but in a bullet type iem.
Seems like I jumped into the iem rabbit hole at the right time. I am waiting for my first pair of iem's and it happens to be one of these which scored over 50, so I am glad I did not go for something pricier to start with. Should my next purchase be a cheap dac and hook it to a mobile phone? TIA
No worries, if you looking value for money DAC, you can start as low as $5 with Venture Electronics ODO (watch my review on it), then when you are ready to go further down the rabbit hole, lol, get EPZ TP50 or Questyle M12i
I was on a hunt for a replacement to my "ancient" Xiaomi Piston 2 last year and got a pair of KZ Ling Long. I remembered not liking it at all after the first few listens (grainy sound, weird peaky treble), not to forget mentioning driver flex is real severe. I poked some holes into the eartips to relieve the pressure just so it won't feel as uncomfortable and congested in my ear. I dumped it into the deepest corner of my drawer since then. But that was before I had any kind of decent DAC-amp. Maybe it's time for me to revisit... Meanwhile, I also got a pair of Sony MH755 modified with MMCX connectors shortly after. Those are very decent out of the box and became my beater set.
@@donglemadness Wow I bought a pair of linglongs and had to buy a second pair. So well tuned, bass texture is good, soundstage is surprisingly big, good imaging, and the detail retrieval is on par with $50 IEMs.
29:14 Hmmmmm .. 👍🏻👍🏻 Also, a side by side comparison that I did of the EDX Pro vs MT1, with the same (upgraded)cable & same tips, I found the EDX Pro inferior to the MT1. Too much (too agressive) energy around 2-2.5k resulting in glare and fatigue, and too much of a dip in the 400-800hz range making the timbre of the lower mids and upper bass very unnatural. The treble and epper treble as well were way too spicy for me. The MT1 I found had better extension below 80hz. I mention all this coz what you in general say about these two matches exactly with what I myself found. I think the TRN stock cable let's it down big time. I didn't even plug that cable in so I don't know, lol. Also, thanks for reviewing the ling long as well, and the review in general. The C0 sounds interesting.
EDx PRO or pro x?! I like tbrnm both but the ProX is more balanced even as a V. I'm a basshead so I was never interested in MT1 though I've heard good things. I dont need every set to be basshead levels but bass light is not for me. Like Waner. Boring. Not only is it bass averse the bass it does have is horrid quality.
@@someoneusa Pro. I listen to all kinds of music, which includes a lot of edm as well over some extended sessions. So I like my fun when I can have it. I couldn't understand clearly from what you said but you say you like them both and go on to say never heard the mt1. I liked the edx pro when I got them, they weren't bad. But when I compared the two side by side, the edx clearly has steeply rolled off bass compared to the mt1. It's mids and deafening highs kept me away from non edm music for sure and i couldn't use them without specifically treble taming foams. The mt1 is not bass light by any means and has a sub like feel. Which is why I prefer it's bass. So no I'm not base averse which is why I've stayed away from the waner. The Hexa was more to my taste, but I couldn't compromise on treble extension either, something which the hexa seems to lack slightly.
Nice! There certainly are some gems at low prices today! I started with the KZ ZSN Pro X some years ago and didn't like it. Not until after A LOT of burn-in and a better cable. The original silver-plated cable made it sound much too boomy and bright. This IEM scales impressively with good cables and sources (NiceHCK BlackCat Utra: Rich & big sound, NiceHCK Maple: similar sound but leaner and more neutral, 4.4mm on iBasso DC4 Pro ($73.90 summer 2023)). I think it is underrated by many because few have tried it with good cables. Because of this, I often prefer it to KZ PR2, KZ D-Fi std and Zalnotes Zero despite still being a bit too bassy and bright. The other IEMs don't scale nearly as well. So when I was able to get a KZ ZSN Pro 2 for $6.32(!) I was very excited to test it! I gave it over a week of continuous burn-in and this is my favourite so far. Much improved. Sounds significantly cleaner than the D-Fi with more treble extension. And dear I say it, superior to the Tanchjim Zero! I think this might be something for you to test. I also have the QKZ AK6 Pro ($3.59) which really impressed me with the stock cable. It is considered by many as one of the best really cheap IEMs. A better cable revealed the limitations though... KZ EDX Pro can be had for the same price and has significantly better build quality and a better cable, but the overall sound quality with stock cable is comparable, the AK6 is a bit brighter and sparkly which I prefer, the EDX Pro is technically a better IEM but needs a better cable to really hear it.
AK6 PRO shocks me everytime I listen to it. Its so good! Cheap plastic but so is Waner. Clear, detailed, and soundstage is impressive, quite 3d.$2.50 well spent. I use Asla tips which is funny since they are the opposite of cheap, but I had them and they fit the set perfectly. EDX Pro X is also great!
