@@threeofeight197let’s hope the debates are well moderated. The moderators in 2020 were very weak at their job, not that I’d do it any better. From what I heard the 2024 Debates will have all 3 Candidates {Since 1992}: Republicans (Trump), Democrats (Biden), Independents (RFK Jr). If ain’t gonna go well, I will definitely not watch the rest of the debates, we’ll see how it goes though. Hopefully this comment section is active after the 2024 Debates.

@@theoallred5105 Trump denounced it a couple of times actually. Even in the early 2000s. Videos of them exist. Its weird they need to keep asking him to denounce it over and over.
@@dennisganim8587 if it wasn’t a problem before, than why didn’t he do it at the debate? It’s because he knows he has a huge following of white supremacists.
Wish the real one is Romney vs Clinton 2016. Not Trump vs Clinton. Real reason: Trump has no plan to stop America from Terrorism. Terrorism and nightmares has rise since Trump took office.
@@zacharylevine8370 Nah I’m saying that young me thought Obama and Romney were being so rude to each other, while current me thinks that they sound polite compared to today’s “debates”
@@AustinRiggsFire Well, friendly to an extent. Romney kindly congratulated Obama on his wedding anniversary; that's something you would never get with our current disrespectful candidates.
@@energybeacon4397 Barack even told his wife that the next year they would not be celebrating in front of 20M people. Fortunately for the Governor, he and Ann got married in March so they had already celebrated. Plus he campaigned with his dad when he was little so he understands how hard it is to celebrate things like anniversaries while campaigning.
Your a superficial person, as long as they talk nice that's what matters the most. Don't take into regard the job that they do or if they fulfill their campaign promises
I would much rather have Romney than Trump. He talks about policy and the issues more than attacking the other candidate. Its just refreshing to go back and see debates that are actually respectful
He’s honestly a much better candidate than Trump has ever been. Sure, some of his policies are pretty sketchy, but I still would’ve been ok with him winning.
@@creedscorner REPUBLICANs are Conservative of the original intent of the Constitution. Originalist. RINO or frauds that use the name to get there way. Romney was a fraud.
@@whysoserious6685 Lmao how can you call us cult members when this is your username. The moderators let Hillary go over the 2 minute mark several times, let the audience applaud her but told them to stop when it was Trump, etc. You have to be libtarded if you don't see the obvious bias.
They actually have a meaningful discussion about how to tackle immigration issues in the second debate instead of accusing each other of wanting open borders and amnesty.
Perhaps the best debate I've ever seen. I knew it then and I sure know it now. All three of their debates were wonderful. I always love watching them again.
How a presidential debate should be. No one wants to listen to them air their grievances against each other, or against third parties. They are respectful to each other, and speak intelligently.
Damn they just respect each other. They can even say “hey I agree with that but here’s what I maybe would’ve done differently” I think it made it clear for people on who to vote for. Trump and Biden are just trying to dig up dirt on each other
Who’s here watching with me in 2020? Damn you guys I was just asking who’s watching with me in 2020 not the whole fuckin debate about who’s better than who like come on can we just have a Lil fun in the comments section to appreciate that we all still alive.
This was different trump in joe was like two kids fight each other lol. Mitt in Obama had respect for each other that why I stood up in watching this they both had plans...
The media pretends to hate trump, but they actually like him since he is so outrageous and gets a lot of clicks for their news stories. If he had not gotten so much attention from the press, he would have never become president.
Talking points are the death of a debater. Obama was better than Romney at separating the talking points from logic here. Particularly in the difference between having a Navy with more ships versus a Navy with better ships.
2012: “I feel that it is necessary to deal with the issues in the Middle East and Libya in a diplomatic way.” 2020: “JOE REMEMBER WHEN YOUR SON DIED LMAOOO”
@@void8016 well yeah. I mean it was not so very bad then but I believe that it might have set the stage for this debacle of a debate. Prime example would be the "because you would be in jail" thing, kind of started the whole personal attack thing. Well that is how my memory serves at least.
damn, 8:57 didn't age well for Obama. He was sort of making fun of Romney for saying that Russia is the biggest threat to US's influence. 10 years later. What do you know.
Imagine mitt Romney as president during this pandemic? Things would have been so different and the American people wouldn’t have been as impacted, like by a far.
***** It's both their past which is coming back to haunt them... I get the feeling Trump is more embracing his past and Hillary is trying to work past it to some extent...
Lol ikr trump In joe debate was so ridiculous like seeing old couple fighting in a divorce court lol. I had too see my favorite debate Obama vs mitt what debate that was they both respect one another
how politely both hearing to each other and how calmly both responding. please let this teach to 2020 comedians trumph and joe. may god bless usa and the world
I'm checking this out to see if tonight's debate really was as juvenile and ridiculous as it seemed. So far... seems like this is the polar opposite. Insane.
It does feel weird to see the candidates politely watching each other respond and waiting until the moderator finished asking the question before responding, rather than, well, what happened last night.
