@@KingDune14 Intimacy has always been a present theme in darling in the franxx. The positioning of the characters when they use a robot, that time a female character got pregnant. Everything
Shit taste, Ichigo's just a sort of generic cute anime girl who cucked world's most overrated and shit tier waifu 02 for an episode while Rei spent pretty much the entire show being a cunt to everyone who wasn't Gendo, no wonder Shinji was fucking terrified of her by the end of the anime lol.

@@koloignanov3091 It's a pretty old anime now so the animation is bound to be not as good, but it's still one of my favourites. Definitely worth a watch
@@paramore7383 the difference between Neon genesis evangelion and Darling ending is that Gainax run out of budget and the creator had a huge depression, in the other hand Darling had a solid budget with plenty of talented people and still managed to have a shitty ending.
I admit EVA has a better opening and much more retro and nostalgic. But people have tastes and personally I like DarliFra's one better. One's retro meanwhile other's a bit more electronic
Darling in the Franxx and Neon Genesis Evangelion are similar in only that there are mechas piloted by teens and the world is somewhat post apocalyptic other then that the shows are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EG Darling in the Franxx is multiple completely robotic mechs being piloted by male and female pairs ( if I remember right males are Triggers and Females are Pistols) neon Genesis Evangelion is armored synthetic angels with no wills having teens with the right genetic makeup piloting them via a inserted cockpit the screws into the mech (eg the pilot is in a cylindrical metal pod called a plug and is then injected into the upper spine of the Evangelion to link the body and mind of it but all controls are taken over by said pilot down side is if Eva is damaged eg left hand severed then the pilot fells the pain as their own due to nerve link)
@@qevon244 considering Eva is from 1995 and DitF is from 2017, yes, the graphics are diffrent, and DitF is better. But honnestly....Story wise.... DitF is just...... well.... strange af. :/ I haven't seen Eva yet, but honnestly, it can't be as bad as DitF.....
I liked Eva a lot more because Darling in the franxx is just a poor copy of neon genesis Evangelion and gurren lagann Franxx is low key the child version I can see how you try to trigger people, and it worked :I
It's not a copy though, at least not at first. The poor ending left it with nothing but Eva though. It takes the shell of the trigger formula and uses it to tell the story of a down to earth teen drama. But ep 17 onwards lost all of that, leaving only the shell of the formula.
@@xnightdwellerx8168 Evangelion is a geniously crafted work of art, from the story and characters to the cinematography and music. The Evangelion Rebuild movies are terrible, but that's a whole other thing. Anyways, DarliFra is a rat turd compared to Eva. Take every big mecha anime, water them down 100 times, mash them all together, and you have the uninspired, disappointing, and horrible mess that is DarliFra.
@@xnightdwellerx8168 It's beyond me how someone who enjoyed Gurren Lagann and Eureka Seven can enjoy the embarassing unoriginal shitshow that was DarliFra
What people think: Darling in the Franxx is just a Evangelion rip-off What actually happened: The author of Evangelion went into the future and watched Darling in the Franxx. He then came back in time to make Eva by ripping-off Darling in the Franxx
Darling in the Franxx is known for his fantastic scenes of fights and has a lot of drama- JUST KIDDING THERE'S ZEROSHIT THE PERFECT WAIFU OH COME ON WHAT IS THIS
Hilarious video lmao... I personally like both shows equally, and actually lean towards liking Darling a lot more, but at times the similarities are really uncanny...
Tbh, Darling in the Franxx is just a poor man’s Gurren Lagann. A) Barren, waste land world with pockets of humans scattered about B) Two-man mechs that require the pilots to bond. C) Two species that don’t get along, one underground and one above ground. One is beastial the other human. D) The humans kill the other species leader only to find out that the other species was protecting the other from intergalactic invaders E) Main girl ends up being connected to the other species and goes in space behind enemy territory for whatever reason F) Main boy who becomes a man for a main girl blasts off into space with allies. G) Allies valiantly sacrifice themselves against overwhelming odds to allow safe passage of said boy H) Mech evolves like a motherfucker into planet/galaxy sized thing to fight true invaders I) Main girl and boy depart from their friends for whatever reason and life goes on without them There is even more, I just haven’t watched either series in a while
moist mage Not so. A quick read tells me that Gainax made Gurren Lagann, and ex-Gainax employees formed Studio Trigger, who made Darling. Therefore, Darling is - AND NOTE THAT I DO LIKE IT - a knockoff of Gurren Lagann. It’s the Yooka-Laylee to their Banjo-Kazooie. The Mighty No 9 to their MegaMan. And so on. But Darling was an enjoyable experience until the last few episodes where things just went DOWN hill.
Darling is nothing like Eva because the MC actually gets into the (literal) fucking robot willingly. Seriously though. The main contribution of Eva is properly starting the whole psychological genre and the fact that it depicted depression accurately. And amazing hand-drawn Gainax animation. But frankly it borrows a fuckton of tropes from earlier mecha shows, so you can safely ignore anyone who claims that X mecha show is a copy of Evangelion because of trope Y, because Eva probably borrowed trope Y from something else. Sincerely, a Gundam fan.
Alright, I'm way too late on this one but i didnt see this video until now so give me a pass but like... Darling literally stole several scenes from NGE
love ya its not copy, Darling in the franxx is its own show, it has a lot of different elements than those animes. Not every new mecha anime is a copy you know?
