Giannis saves the NBA. He stayed loyal to his team that drafted him and didn’t join or created superteam like most superstars today just to win their ring. Most people were laughing on him when he signed that five-year extension with the bucks but he knows his time is coming and he wanted to win his ring the right way. Now he’s one of the most accomplished 26 years old in nba history, he won the most improved player of the year, all star game MVP, 2x regular season MVP, defensive player of the year and tonight he became NBA champion and still won finals MVP even though he was injured 2 weeks ago. Well deserved

To think couple weeks back he was out and finished?? Bucks had Great excuse to lose this series but Giannis DID play and Milwaukee EARNED this Championship 🏆 First in 50 years !! Hats absolutely off to them 😎
Yep. He was able to earn a ring without recruiting star players from other teams unlike leFlop who couldn't win without another star player on his side and continues to blame everyone else whenever he loses.
But still that stupid cameraman doesn't leave him alone. C'mon guys, give the man a chance to just enjoy the moment and celebrate without a camera recording your every move.
@@MichaelGiordano777 Michael I'm a basketball fan. I've been watching the Bucks lose since I was kid. I love when the underdog wins. Here in New York, we have die hard sides. But, we have won so much with the Yankess, and the Mets are two time champs, and we had a good Knicks team in the 90s until Starks started thinking that he could shoot. With me any New York team that is in the finals or world series has my back as long as it's not against the Yankees in baseball. The Nets got a serious rude awakening with Giannis and the Bucks winning. Now the pressure is on all these high salary contracts on the Nets. But, above all, lets not forget what Harden said about Giannis. Harden now has a lot to prove as a Net.
Not bad for a guy that supposedly can only "Run and Dunk". Giannis is a 2x MVP, 1x DPOY, MIP, All Star MVP, and now a Finals MVP at the age of 26, Insane!! 🎉🏆 I better hear no more Giannis Disrespect 😤

No quitting on your team mid season like AD before going to the Lakers or Harden this season No decision, no team hopping or playing GM then crying I need help after every loss like LeBron No joining a 73 win team like KD Just grind and became a winner
man, still getting goosebumps watching this back, being down at the deer district outside the stadium after they won, the entire crowd was going bonkers, literally strangers crying and hi-fiving and hugging each other, with just as much if not more energy outside the stadium than in that night, I will never forget that. there was easily 80k people there despite official numbers.
Kobe would’ve been proud to see Giannis come this far, he’s already a legend in the game of basketball and he’s only 26, we got a lot of time left to watch this guy
Giannis and his two brothers got rings. WoW!!. Incredible. Much respect. The city of Milwaukee has been through a lot. I beLieve they deserve this moment in time. Congrats yall.
From his free throws, to his midrange shooting, to his 3 point shooting, to his fast break, to his defense, to his his rim protection, and to his trust towards his team, he played the entire closeout game the right way. He just solidified himself as a Hall of Famer if he were to retire right now.
@@bransonmoak1955 they say when you're not a good shooter, the lights get brighter behind the foul line shots, home crowd or not. Just look at Ben Simmons
@@picklewithinternet2254 funny part is they say AD is better than Giannis but AD couldn’t win with prime boogie, Jrue Holiday, and a 30 year old rondo, and mirotic when he was a really good role player
Giannis wanted to prove to everyone that he’s not here to just be just a superstar, he wanted to prove that he’s a champion. This was one of the greatest playoff runs in NBA history!!!
Please, please let's not forget the great feats of Giannis this season. His blocks, that alleyoop and the mere fact that we thought he wouldn't start the finals with after that injury. What a Greek Freak of a player 🦌🦌🦌🇬🇷🇬🇷👑👑
He didn't even shed a tear ... it almost made me ... losing hurts he never made the playoffs u til this run and u come up short .... he gone be back tho
This championship means more than so many others, simply because Gianas is a true player who didn’t cower like other wannabes joining a super team to win a title. He showed loyalty and passion towards his game and his city’s fan base, therefore will forever be loved and go down in history as a true champion!
I’m kind of glad the superteams didn’t make it to the finals, these scrappy players putting their hearts out on the court is so much better than seeing a glorified all-star game as your finals
So you’re basically saying that you’re happy so many injuries accrued to star players? Because that’s literally the only reason Phoenix and the Bucks were the representatives of the West and the East, it’s not like these stacked teams just lost. Classy thinking dude, that was just a really well thought out comment 😂
I'm not saying I don't agree w/ you, but I think that the word "superteam" could be a bit vague. Like one might argue that the bucks are a superteam, especially considering their well above average supporting cast/role players and the fact that drew holiday is massively underrated as a defender. I will say that I did enjoy watching the finals because we haven't seen these two teams in the finals for a long time.
Especially in a country like Greece where Basketball is as popular as football. Europe becomes more and more important for the NBA, check the last 3 years MVP, DPOTY and Luka who leads the even younger generation.
When your his height it's not hard to get good enough to play professional ball lol. It's not like he's 5'6 lmfao. Pacquiao is a much more impressive individual because of what he accomplished with his size and coming up from living on the streets in the Philippines eating food outta trash cans as well as fighting hungry. While Giannis is blessed with a height that almost guarantees him a professional basketball contract with any organization as long as he shows just a bit of effort. Get outta here with that boo woo Giannis background story lol
Unlike lebron who won rings only by creating super teams. Remember people thought giannis was leaving the bucks. This championship was better than any championship won by lebron
I wish we saw more of this in sports. Loyalty to the team and the city that supports you. And not joining a stacked team just to win. Giannis earned this the hard way. And THAT is special!! Congrats Bucks!
Poor Book, hopefully he gets his ring someday soon, he's part of the next-gen Greats after all and doesn't deserve to get Barkley'd. Giannis is just literally Built Different.
that moment when he waits for his family and held the rope for them to make sure everybody came, not only a greater player but a great person too. Fam always comes first.
I'm genuinely happy for this guy. He won it like a true man would do. No matter what he stuck it through with his team and reached the mountain top. Deserves all the respect and accolades he gets. Never any excuses and always talking team first.
Thank you Gianni. For everyone of us who played basketball in Athens. For everyone of us who stayed up all night on a school day watching an All Star. For everyone of us who dreamed of dunking in the NBA. For everyone of us who dreamed of meeting Kobe, LeBron, Jordan. You made our dream come true. One of us made it. You are the MVP. You are what sports is all about. You deserve the world.
Persistence pays. This young man was determined, he named it and claimed it. He was totally devoted to bring a championship trophy to the city and they did it. Congrats Milwaukee Bucks, the fans really showed some love for this team.💯
Congratulations Milwaukee ! You guys earned everything. Giannis and his teammates were a thrill to watch. Now you have your title enjoy the ride. No one can Ever take this away. Thanks again for entertaining us fans with your skills and you did it with class. One of the most entertaining finals I have watched. To the Phoenix Suns. Your a great team with a awesome foundation. Add a peice. Here and there and you will be back in the finals again. Don’t let this loss sting you for long use it for motivation to get back and win one for yourselves. 2 great franchises that are class acts. Congratulations again to both.
Giannis is such an inspiration. Came from nothing, made his own legacy, became mvp, became NBA champion. ALL IN HIS WAY. this man has something to teach to all of us and we all gotta learn from him. Proud of you GREEK FREAK. 💚
Giannis been thru a lot. Seeing the documentary & what it took to get where he at. People really didn’t think he was gonna get a ring. He really put the work in. Respect! For D- Book this will motivate the fuel for him. He will be back. CP3 going to LA. I just feel that vibe from him & him being close to Bron. I don’t think it’s the right move. But next year won’t be easy for no team. To all who read this keep striving for greatness. YOUR time is coming 🏁
I’ve never ruled out Milwaukee going on a hot streak and winning a title. I just don’t see them as a dynasty type team...but anyone who said they had zero chance to ever win one is just stupid.
@@87Khein it's weird, I feel the same way. Been rooting for them to win a title and they're legit contenders but don't see a dynasty like the Warriors, Heat, Bulls, and Lakers. It's probably because they don't have a second superstar.
@@skullclxps5616 I think the only legit matchup for the Bucks in the east were the Nets. I never saw the Sixers as legit contenders. And if those Nets were healthy, it could've been a different story. But thats not how the story goes now
heads straight to his family. Truly an Outstanding moment and person, there is more to this game then the paint, i’m glad Giannis shows this consistently - Congratulations to a the Bucks and everyone’s families , Well deserved.
The 1960's had Russell. The 1970's had Kareem. The 1980's had Magic. The 1990's had MJ. The 2000's had Kobe. The 2010's had LeBron. By the projection of his career, the 2020's will belong to Giannis. A new legend has arrived.
