This will never get old for Melbourne fans...

Still sends shivers. 2023 and I can’t believe it. I’m 23, but on that night in 2021 it truly felt like I’d loved every up and down since 1964 with the dees.

It’s still so surreal and unreal that Melbourne won its first flag in 57 years in such a fashion like this. I naively had believed that it would be much closer as I was going for the Doggies by four points as Treloar and the Bont kicked three snags apiece. Fritsch with a half dozen majors of his own was phenomenal. Max Gawn played a great game as had Petracca with his wizardry and magic in the midfield.

So blessed to see a premiership. So heartbroken it was in Perth and couldn't see it with my own eyes

So glad we did this before Ron Barassi died.

I’ve never been a fan of afl, (I am interested in being one though) but I know what it’s like to have a team that’s gone decades without a premiership and I gotta say I was happy for the demons to get this win, well done demons
