They need to add one massive creature into the void. Think about it. You get past the Ghost Leviathans on your trek to the bottom of the void, only to see a massive mouth silently rise from the darkness below to swallow you and whatever vehicle you're using whole.
Hey! Thank you for your awesome support! i have showed some of your comments to my wife, she was stunned :) thank you SO VERY MUCH! The one thing that really disappoints me about Subnautica is that in the game you can't really gauge the size of creatures. In game they look so much smaller than they really are. It's sad because the Ampeel looks like a normal sized, small, electric eel, but in reality its body is 3x as wide as the player's.
reefbacks are useful for gathering materials like copper, you can rarely find a barnacle on them (at least 2 per reefback, most of the time hidden) that look like teal eyes. these count as mineral nodes, and it is one of the only creatures in subnautica that you cant pick up but you can pick up something around it (the other 2 being giant floaters, which form the floating islands and underwater islands, and the sea treaders, which poop)
The sea Emperor is 160 to 200 metres and the skeleton in the lost river is 402 meters but that is about a third of the skeleton the full skeleton would have been around 1100 to 1300 metres
I remember accidently wandering into a deadzone in a seamoth. The ambience track went silent and all i heard was some roar from up ahead. I dipped out of there so fast and took a quick glimpse behind me and just see this huge ghost leviathan coming right at me.
must say, this list is accurate, but ghost leviathans that are in the void and grand reef biomes actually are the biggest aggressive lifeform up to date, not including the DLC that is soon to come I still say that adult ghosts are longer than sea dragon, by a crap ton, and size is length and height and width combined soo... it's bigger, it's the length factor that helps it
This ain't gonna be the final top 10. Don't forget about the Arctic Biome!!! There's gonna be new creatures and probably some creatures that were killed by the Kharaa/Carar (whatever you wanna call the bacterium but I prefer the old name Carar) but have adopted in the arctic. I believe the Titan/Gargantuan/Lost Leviathan will also appear in the biome, same with the ancient leviathan. So stay tuned for the update! :D
10:41 you see the sea emporer's babies leave the prison and later on you can find one that's grown a little. so actually you can find them outside the precursor prison, but i think the prison is the only place you can see a fully grown one.
2:39, in the game, the information tells you that what you think is its brain that you see is actually its stomach, not its brain. I learnt that from Jacksepticeye's gameplay videos.
Me after going to the blood kelp forest with a thermoblade and statis rifle: IM READY TO FIGHT THE LEVIATHAN!!! Me after seeing a crab squid: Y’know what I’m getting out of here.
My first encounter with a Ghost Leviathan: i'm swimming out past the Aurora to find the island where the multipurpose room is when i get a notification saying i've reached an ecological dead zone, and entering a crater zone. Wierded out but not too scared since the leviathans don't attack on the surface, right? WRONG. I hear a high pitched scream of sorts, kinda scared me, but still not too worried since its not like a Ghost Leviathan is going to- I see a giant transparent tail stick out the water next to me. NONONONONO THIS CANT BE HAPPENING. basically shitting myself because i know damn well what this is. BUT I THOUGHT THE GHOST LEVIATHANS WERE IN THE VOID OR THE LOST RIVER i think to myself. I pop under water to get a good look at the Ghost Leviathan besides being scared shitless. It swims past me, thing's fucking massive. Turn around just as it's massive head bites me, turning my full health into a fifth. Begging not to die as I run away with my seaglide. I dont even turn back because I really really really dont want to die. I actually managed to make it home. Save game and close subnautica. take a nap. This video confused me since it says your first encounter will be in the lost river but it might be a bug.
well, that depends on your gameplay. If you focus on going deeper rather than further, the Lost River Ghost Leviathan will be your first. But if you explore further rather than deeper, yeah, you'll meet the adults.
A further note on the Sea Emperor not having a gender - I found a data cache somewhere in the game (can't precisely remember where, it was either the Lost River or the Mushroom Forest) which had a Pre-cursor terminal showing some research on the assorted marine animal life that dwells in the oceans of 4546B. One of the things your PDA tells you from translating the precursor research data is that, in fact, most of the sea creatures in the game are genderless and, as such, reproduce asexually (i.e. only one partner is required as opposed to two).
Ellie Daley so I’m scrolling through RU-vid I know this is an old comment. Still I must say, in the database it says the Ghost Leviathan has no limit to its size, the more it eats the bigger it will get
Technically it was an angry mother Sea Dragon whose eggs the precursors had stolen that set off the whole chain of events that over a millennia later led to the Aurora being shot down
It’s actually more so the precursors fault that we aspre stuck on the planet, since if the precursors never stole a sea dragon egg then the sea dragon would have never attacked their base. Great video though, I agree with every entry.
It's actually even more so the kharaa virus. Had it not have existed then the precursors wouldn't have attempted to test how eggs would react against the kharaa.
Honestly it's sad in the end of subnautica where the sea Emperor Leviathan says he dies but gives you the enzyme 42 which you needed to get back because if you're diseased you will not be able to go into the Neptune and fly back home until you get fixed also known as a vaccine rip sea Emperor Leviathan 2016-2017 actually no idea when subnautica was made
