Let me know what you think of the format of this video. Should I just go back to showing the pistol on my work bench? Becuase I would like to go back to just showing the pistol on my work bench 😂
Table top is better, although you should pop in for a quick second with your mask, or a face cutout of somebody random off google just for comedy purposes lol
palmetto just put them on their site for $600 and I couldn’t pass, immediately after ordering i went on youtube like we all do to see what the masses say. and yes i know it’s stupid to watch reviews after you already ordered a gun but i’ve already heard for the most part these are solid budget 2011s so I wasn’t worried, but wow your videos helped me already pick some parts and got a good idea on some things i’ll be modifying straight out of the box so thanks a lot for posting this last part right in time haha, awesome series of videos very informative 👍🏽
So glad the videos have been helpful! $600 is a great deal! These are a great place to start in the doublestack 1911 game. With a few parts and fine tuning they run awesome!
Psa has good prices but they keep your mags if live in an evil state. Sportsman outdoors has for 600 too free shipping. I just ordered one comes next week can’t wait.
@@jahnnosymister6952 thankfully I live in Az one of the most 2a friendly states imo, but yea if you live in a shitty state and they take your mags that totally blows
I paid for a tisas, then cacncelled it, because i wanted tge mac instead. Ive since bought nothing and still pondering between the two, however i did get to play w a tisas carry the other day and wasnt too impressed. I told myself, "ive already got agood enough prodigy at home, why get another good enough ds1911... . I'll wait for your mac build to see if i want to chase that one down
Really liked this video series, thanks for making it! Unrelated, but are you familiar with the updated Apollo 11 commander? Was wondering how it stacked up to the b9p
@@SS-tr5ru I would wait to see if the price drops. I paid $850 for mine but would really like to see the price come down to $750 which I think it will in maybe 6 months. I'll explain more in upcoming videos.
MAC9 videos are posted, build is done. Yeah I am going to go back to just filming the firearms on my work bench in general. I will still be wearing the same amount of balaclava while shooting haha.
Hey bro. Me again. Haha. So I got the TLR1-HL adapter from QVO and my light will not clamp on securely. One of the side tabs on the light doesnt seem to want to bite on the rail. Any tips?
hey man, I've been watching all the carry ds videos and sincerely have enjoyed them and have one as a project gun myself. What did you do to blend the area on the grip below the safety? that's like my only actual issue with mine now after adding a guide rod and a decent bushing.
This has billet internals. They are good quality and will be durable. I don't see any need to replace them unless you want to run some crazy sub 2# trigger and really need that tool steel sear for it to be safe and last.
@@dltzWould it be possible for you to post the Sku number of the WC guide rod and barrel bushing? I want to get those and have em ready when I get the Carry.
@@DesertTactical Bushing is 619B, Guide rod set is 25C. I would recommend waiting to see how loose your barrel bushing is. If its really loose like mine was I would recommend an EGW .100 gap .705 OD, gunsmith (.568") bore. They will also cut the bore for you if you tell them your barrel OD. I don't know how comfortable you are fitting a barrel bushing. I also don't know how tight you want it or how bad it will be from the factory.
