Thanks for this review. I bought these recently and you pretty much mirror my thoughts on them. All is very good and only niggle is the anc staying on after shutdown, which you mentioned. Apparently the English- language app is being worked on and it is hoped they'll sort this issue and offer EQ settings and other tweaks.
The headband is spring steel so you can actually bend it a bit with your hands to reduce pressure. But just wearing them normally will not stretch them.
I got a pair of these. The sound is consumer-friendly but refined. Yes, accentuated bass and a slight V-shaped sound signature. A bit of bleed into the lower mids. That's to be expected with almost any ANC over-ear can at this price range. Not bad at all. But there's a HUGE negative with these cans that are forcing me to return them: The ear cups are TINY. We're talking PUNY. Final Audio must have used a dwarf elf as its ergonomic model as there is no adult human on Earth for whom these will fit comfortably. These are not over-ear cans; they're ANC on-ears. Uncomfortable as hell. That's not what I paid for.
@@PrimeAudioReviews yep, I have the hip, go blu and zen stack. Covers me for anything! Really like Finals ze3000 too, my dogs are getting longer walks since I got them.
I have the W820NB and was surprised that the UX3000 aesthetically resembles the former. It also seems that both sound closer to each other albeit the UX3000 is more refined than the W820NB. Enjoying the W820NB right now. Thanks David! I always watch your impressions on various audio gear.
I have a super small head and ears, right now I have the Bose 700 which I switched out with my old sennheiser pxc 550. Both these headphones keep sliding of my head when I slightly look down or up without a cap on, do you think I would have the same problem with these?
@@PrimeAudioReviews It's hella impressive if Final stuffed drivers in there of such high quality as to rival some aspects of the MW65's. This stands true regardless of tuning. Cudos to Final.
