Join startups for exponential learning, during early phases of career, meaning when you don't have responsibilities. Then go for MNCs, when you want stability and comfort. This is also a safe route
I'm working at a startup, and I literally feel every point you mentioned 😂 I became a Team Lead within 3-4 months, which is why I sometimes need to be active on Sundays as well 💀
Hii dipak, I am a full stack web developer, graduated this year. I have a list of decent projects in MERN stack and next js. I think you are one of the person who can help me. Can we have a chat ?
I am also working in startup, and literally as of now I am enjoying it a lot ❤😄 as you mentioned, your team is your family and friends and everything, yes its 💯 true. There was a demo of project on one Friday and some features were not working then on Thursday night me and my team were sitting whole night to make it work 😂 and on next day at 4 am I went to home 🏡 I must say I have learnt a lot in Just 4 month's which I don't think I would have learn in my college days. And, in long run ( when you have family responsibilities and etc. ) I would prefer to work in MNC, but till then just rock in startup 😸🔥
I am currently working in a startup with clients and product dev. The points you mentioned were pretty much accurate, but also from our company's perspective, it's somewhat better than other startups because they do value our time and provide opportunities to grow. BTW there are very points you mentioned.
To summarize I think The startup is like : a newborn baby ( 0-5 yr ) we have to take care of too much. But big companies like adult child in which we have to raise better for society and all
i think , starting from the StartUp's is good because we got wide scope of knowledge there .after that you can switch in MNC's for work life balance if you want to relax .
I registered in crio and i've got like hundred calls from them , describing their courses and selling. Even after my talking with their people to call less because it is disturbing, I still get one or two calls a day. I don't know why it is, but it is really frustating.
I actually discussed points like this in my TCS prime interview yesterday XD . I've worked with 3,4 startups already so they're curious and I had to convince them that I prefer MNC XD
Striver a request, could you kindly provide a shorter playlist version for the binary search playlist as you said you would and as you have done for graphs and dp , as we have very less time for placements. Thank you for your dedication towards us.
Thats quite obvious indians want to squeeze other indian employees for low money and treat them badly. No wonder why many indians abroad don't want to work under indian manager.
I’ve worked in startups You’ll have a hard time if you’re “not likeable” in the startup. If you can bring energy in the team then you’ll be safe, even without exceptional skills you’ll thrive. No such thing with MNCs.
Bhaiya me ek startup me hoon, sab kuch same hota hai jo aapne bola sala pure din raat toh bss earphone laga krr meetings lete rho, kabhi business requirements clear hi ni hoti, koi prod issue aata hai toh raat me 12-1 baje tak kaam krna pdta hai, sad life chahte hai ek big mnc me job ho but resume hi shortlist ni hota hia even after referral, no reply :(
Hello bhaiya Can you tell me that is blockchain a good career path ?? I want to make a career as blockchain developer? But I watched some youtube videos in which they said it is just all scam, hype and web 3 or blockchain is dead?? So sir should I learn it or go for Al ??
I have been in both, and raj is accurate. Now I have moved to a big company, but one of my friends made it huge with a startups IPO, too huge, in crores on one fine day, so there is both risk and reward as raj said.
Crio is just a scam .. please dont enroll if you are looking for placements ! Students just join there for placements and get trapped me and many are one of them . No hiring partners nothing part of crio from feb 2023 still not placed.
One more prospective, which i think many people want to know silently but are not able to ask... If you are from LGBTQ community then what's best for you.... So i work in MNC and my partner worked in various startups (until last month). I am working in same company since two years, and my partner kept changing jobs every next month. Reason - In MNC they are more aware and okay with your personality and MNCs even have ally groups, whereas in startup, you work with a small group of people and if they are uncomfortable with you or your identity, then no matter how good you are in your job, they will simply fire you.
Bhaiya I my 4th sem just and started doing dsa from your tuf and your playlist because I ma comfortable in c++. And parallelly doing mern stack. But recently everyone is talking about mern has lesser opportunities and big tech companies using java full stack heavily. So now I am confused what fath should I follow 1. Dsa using c++ with mern full stack development Or 2. Dsa using java with java full stack(spring boot, etc.)
do dsa, cp on weekdays, do web dev on weekends(dont overdo things, just take a little do it consistently over the year) aur web dev mein sikhte jao weekends pe project bhi banate jao, ho jayega.
So the thumbnail say "Never join a...", not "Never join an...". So, the final verdict is "Never join a startup", because for "MNC" the article would have been "an" before MNC. #sarcasm
#striver pleas upload heap playlist video must needed. Placements are going to start and other available videos on youtube are not good enough as yours. please
❗❗❗Please read this 🙏🙏❗❗❗ Hi striver, I really need your suggestion on this. Hoping that you will reply. I am a 2023 passout, currently working at a service based company from Feb 2024 as an ASE. I'm not happy with the work I'm doing daily. I asked my manager to change my work but they said that I can't change inside the company for 2 years. So I have decided to change the company. I want to get a high paying job, so, I've decided to learn DSA. I found your A2Z sheet, I started solving that, currently I'm in 1.4 knowing basic math (Step-1 section-4). I am able to solve the problem in the brute force approach in TUF, but when it comes to geeks for geeks, I can't able to solve the question in the brute force approach also. (Just telling this to let you know my knowledge on programming). Because of that I really get confused on what to do, first practice on GFG and then learn DSA(by following A2Z sheet) or do vice-versa? I really need your suggestion on this. Please give me some suggestion. 😢😢😢😢🙏🙏🙏🙏 Hoping that you will answer my question.
Bhai aapne ek podcast me bola tha k Koi b course lena nahi chahiye... Khud se sabkuch seekh sakte ho... Aur abhi aap courses suggest kar rahe ho.... Why
