Not really imo, the damage perk for mechaneers only triggers when your shield breaks I believe. Since this thing has a 1 second charge time (kinda like an aggressive fusion I think) if you’re low on health I doubt you will have time to pull this thing out and pull off a full burst.

It kinda does scare me within the PvP. The tracking seems far stronger than Jotunn and Osteo Striga.

@@albertotapia7272 It’s super easy to dodge the bullets especially if u next to a corner. And even though he can kill u behind barrier you have plenty of time to react and escape or even challenge the person. I don’t see many people using it for it to make any impact at all. It’s really just a meme weapon.

Played a few games using strand warlock. It was pretty fun ngl, not as effective or meta as solar or void but seeing 8 threadlings jump into one guy never fails to make me laugh.

U can't have fun anymore. Since the SBMM there is no fun in crucible anymore.

​@MasterChiefHomer crucible has never been for those who want actual fun. Its been plauged for years by players that think winning is the only way to have fun, so they just use meta builds and try to pub stomp. Its unfortunate but true.

Instead of nerfing the tracking or damage instead make the bullet's slow projectiles so that players can try and dodge it's tracking.

yes but you're not supposed to counter it "once it locks on", you just start shooting at the user during their charge time and you'll probably kill them first

In pve yes in pvp it’s actually Pretty bad like let’s be real frost died a lot more then normal not cause he is playing bad but cause the gun isn’t very good not the worst gun but it’s really not great in pvp

If they nerfed that this gun would be completely unusable in pvp it’s already pretty bad if you actually try it you will see it’s not good

It’s not as good as you think,probably annoying like osteo but not OP. From the gameplay it looks like a fun gun but basically a worse devil’s ruin,less potential damage.

@@teknyon You are shooting around corners tho. How does one duel? Ahamkaras are already good. pair this with ahamkaras to avoid getting pushed and just spam away after jiggle peeking for a micro second. How does one counter play that lock-on? The only option is pushing as 3 and hoping they don't have back up. The reload is pretty quick so it is not much of a window. A barricade around the corner might work too. Still I dont think a primary should dictate engagements this much.

@@viseshism grenade launchers would shut this down Grenades shut it down Sniper headshotting the peeking idiot can shut it down Bows shut it down Pushing the guy before they can even charge it shuts it down I’ve actually used it and fought it and it’s not nearly as bad as you think And I’d rather have this dictate how I take a fight than deal with the same annoying un fun garbage that I already do
