4:30 If you wear nitrile gloves it'll help keep your hands warm. Winter or summer I wear them every time that I wash, because I don't want chemicals soaking my hands.

I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video where you were as calm, relaxed, and genuinely happy as you were in this video. You said in the HexCast that you had a weight lifted when the deal fell though, but I feel like that weight has been around your neck since you started getting in hot water at Raymond James. I installed a Sub-Zero fridge in the last house I built. Mine had the bottom 1/3 approximately as the freezer. You can put a whole body in there! The compressor and plumbing is above the unit leaving the entire bottom for the freezer. All other refrigerators will disappoint after owning a Sub-Zero. The kitchen cabinet maker made custom cherry-wood panel inserts for the doors that matched the cabinets. With the panels installed, it blended in with all the cabinets. People visiting couldn't figure out where the fridge was until looking for it closely. lol

Going to miss this wash bay as I love the wash and talks. Mega relaxing to watch and also motivates me on the days when I'm feeling a bit slack about caring for my own cars. Onwards and upwards I'm sure in the future.

I live in a condo in the Chicago suburbs but I have a summer home in michigan. So my garage is 100 mi away from me! And with the lake house being closed for the winter I can live vicariously through your washing videos. But boy am I good to my car on the weekends I can get up to my lake house in michigan!

I can feel the sorrow in the “stay tuned for more crazy”. I had a similar move just over a year ago, but kinda opposite of yours. Instead of leaving a nice house on big land into something more economical we moved from a luxury apartment walking distance to the gym and a minutes drive from anything you would ever need. Into a kinda janky 2500 square foot house on 1 acre that’s 45 minutes from everything you’d ever need. You’d think I’d be excited to finally have a house, but I miss my modest apartment in the heart of everything. My kids love it here though, and the garage and driveway give me plenty of space for detailing and stupid car projects.

Who ever wins this will have a true gem! Your never settle for less mindset is amazing

Construct a ~4,500 sf home, on no more than 1 acre of land, and customize it as you’d want without worrying about a gigantic piece of property to maintain. My wife and I work with high end kitchen and bath installs for clients’ high end homes. & we see Homes with more controlled square footage on a smaller piece of land wind up with better craftsmanship and focus on the details. OCD people like myself are all about details. 🙂

6:17 The price of those Si's went up a lot. Recently I noticed 2, both for sale, more than 10k. They're not near new as yours.

A dialled in OG spec E46 M3 would be amazing. Especially if you get a CSL and do a manual swap!
