I agree with you. Owen is doing a brilliant job on this show. Liked him as a player and definitely like him in this role.

He asked a key question in us forcing passes when they are not on. Pieter Steph sometimes guilty of it when I think it’s better to hold the ball rather

The level of analysis, all in their second languages, is really impressive. Consider the NZ variant offerings where the pundits just do emotional moaning, here we see an analysis of the game that actually improves our understanding of the game. Great.

True that. I think the problem with shows overseas they are more focused on entertainment and including the common fan. While this doesn't care about the entertainment factor and more educate rugby to those who question coaches decision

Brilliant synopsis and insights! Such contrast to many other shows especially when NZ is involved. Awesome show The Boks are gaining confidence while remaining humble and innovative. But, as Victor emphasized - the basics first! Scrum, defend and execute! Exciting times... In 2017, many pundits claimed SA doesn't have the skills or the athletes... Now we are the benchmark. #GoBokke #StrongerTogether #Threepeat2027

Everyone seems to think that Rassie has picked a "B team" for this game. However, if you look carefully, if all the guys on the bench come on, the team will pretty much be a "full strength" Bok team. The front row that comes on is a way more experienced (153 caps between the 3 of them) than guys that are to start the game (Eben joins Salmaan as lock (RG would certainly have started if he did not have an injury) and Kwagga as well. These forward replacement players have a total of 320 caps between them whereas the starting forwards have only 136 caps between them; 80 of those caps come from PSDT. This is not a "bomb squad", but more of a "nuclear bomb". Grant, Manie and Handre, will join experienced players such as Makazole, Cheslin, Jesse en Lukhanyo at the back.

And that's the reason why they are looking at this 'total rugby' concept. It's looking good for RSA for many years.

4:20 is this a flying wedge? Once the 1st pod catches the ball is the lineout over when they pass the ball out/back.? Loved the play. Not sure it is within the margins? Different ref, different call. Good luck.

Riddle me this....how was Andre Esterhuizen given a RED CARD for the VERY SAME tackle made by a back on a back but the NZ'der gets a yellow only when that was a 120kg forward tackling a 75kg backline player.....this is ridiculous....

I disagree. the Wallabies weren't pap and they made the Boks work for every meter. This Wallabies team under Joe Schmidt will grow and become a force. Inexperienced but not pap.
@GBH001

@@Jay-Leigh863 they aren’t great but got completed swamped by a far better side. The boks have historically had huge problems in Oz and especially this stadium so it was very impressive to see how they c9mpletely controlled the game from the start and seemed to have another gear if they needed it
@Jay-Leigh863
@Jay-Leigh863 25 дней назад
@@GBH001 I agree with you. It does remain to be seen whether the Boks can raise their intensity this week to the same level they did last week. We have a recent history of being brilliant today and winning comfortably only to lose a week later to the same team. Remember Mbombela stadium a year ago. The Boks demolished the All Blacks only to lose at Ellis Park a week later to the same All Blacks and we repeated that trend against Ireland recently. Also, that world cup quarter final against France was brilliant and then we nearly came unstuck against England a week later. I think that was the major reason Rassie made so many changes to the team this time. Point is, "pap" teams the one week have monster us a week later. Hopefully we can break that duck this weekend.

What an underperformance by both teams. Australia' aimless kicking as well as not going for a driving mall to score more points shows their lack of confidence, where the Springboks also faltered quite a bit.

The boks cheated on that first try. That was a clear "Flying Wedge". And they did it twice during the game and got away with it. They had to of practiced that move and knew it could end in a penalty to Australia (if the refs did their fking job!!!).
